    their schedules Debi Massage Clinic Financial Aid Code of Conduct Satisfactory Academic Progress SAP Policy At Ashdown College each student s academic record will be reviewed at the end of each semester In order to maintain satisfactory progress for financial aid purposes you must satisfy all of the following elements of the policy Academic progress is evaluated using both qualitative GPA and quantitative the percentage of units satisfactorily completed requirements Grade Point Average GPA Students must maintain at least a 2 0 grade point average on a 4 point scale for each semester attended Percentage of attempted cumulative credits completed Students must satisfactorily complete a minimum of 67 of the credits attempted at Ashdown College This standard requires students to successfully complete with letter grade of C or better a minimum of 67 of the total number of credits attempted Letter grades of C D F W I will not be considered as credits successfully completed or earned Maximum number of attempted units allowed to complete your program Students must complete all degree or certificate requirements within 150 of the number of units required to complete your program You must complete your degree or certificate within 150 of the published program length including transfer credits Prior Attendance The financial aid office is required to consider all attendance at Ashdown College when determining the quantitative component of SAP even if financial aid was not received during any of the previous periods of enrollment This includes credits attempted from all institutions in which the student had prior enrollment Appeal Process A student may appeal the decision of financial aid suspension Appeals must be made to the director of financial aid in writing with supporting documentation attached including letters from physicians when appropriate Once your written appeal and supporting documents are reviewed a
