    College Based Student Success Fees 2015 2016 Leadership Program for Diversity Inclusion Double Concentration in Accounting Beginning in Spring 2015 the Orfalea College of Business is pleased to allow a limited number of students the ability to declare two concentrations one of which must be Accounting Rationale Employers of Orfalea graduates such as accounting firms and large corporations with finance accounting departments have approached the Accounting Area and encouraged us to graduate more students with a concentration in Accounting Accounting firms who have consistently hired a large number of Orfalea graduates have a strong interest in hiring additional students who pursue concentrations in Finance Accounting and IS Accounting Companies such as Apple and Cisco have also indicated that Finance students would benefit from pursuing Accounting as a second concentration Eligibility requirements Ability to realistically graduate within 4 years with both concentrations 3 0 Cal Poly SLO GPA Must declare before the end of 3 rd year at Cal Poly Primary or secondary concentration must be Accounting To apply to double concentrate in Accounting students must complete the following steps Submit a 4 Year Plan directly to cobadvis calpoly edu Students must use this file Before submitting please check all pre requisites and tentative course offerings to ensure accuracy You may be asked to re submit if these conditions are not met Following the submission of their 4 Year plan students are then required to fill out the Double Concentration Inquiry form below The Advising Center will review the feasibility of your submitted 4 Year Plan You will then be emailed regarding your eligibility status If eligible you will be required to schedule an appointment with a Peer Advisor to review your 4 year plan before declaring Double Concentration Inquiry Form Recent News Paul Orfalea Speaks to Students on Campus Visit
