    Follow Us on Facebook Carver Quick Links Come in for a tour Follow Us on Facebook EDGE The West Virginia EDGE program stands for Earn a Degree Graduate Early This program was established in 2001 and is the by product of the seamless curriculum initiative that focuses on curriculum alignment between education levels EDGE was partially created to provide incentives for more students to continue their education beyond high school Students who participate in the EDGE initiative can earn community and technical college credit free of charge for the duplicated secondary and postsecondary courses identified during the curriculum alignment process Those who choose to attend a community or technical college may now enter those schools upon graduation from high school and Carver with college credits accumulated Several programs are currently in the development stages to accommodate this need with the EDGE program leading the way Carver has over 200 members on their Advisory Board and a committed staff all of whom support higher education for our students The EDGE program and other similar programs define a system that gives our vocational students the opportunity to attain college credit for their coursework as a high school vocational student and to quickly

    INFO ADMISSIONS ENROLLMENT SERVICES FINANCIAL AID TUITION FEE INFORMATION JOB PLACEMENT STUDENT COUNSELORS TUTORING EDGE PROGRAM CAREER PLUS CLUBS NEWS EVENTS SCHOOL CALENDAR STUDENT HERO TEACHER SPOTLIGHT GET ENROLLED Questions 304 348 1965 Follow Us on Facebook Career Plus Career Plus is a program that was designed to assist at risk students who have fallen behind in credits Participating students receive the academic courses as well as the opportunity to complete a technical program by attending Carver as an all day student The school counselor or administrator may recommend a student as a possible candidate for admission to the Career Plus Program The home school will refer the recommended students to the administrators at Carver Student s grades transcripts attendance and discipline records will be available before the Carver administrators schedule an interview with the student and parent Career Plus students will remain on the roll of the home high school They will have all the privileges that any student at their high school is afforded Each student and parent will be required to sign a contract regarding discipline grades attendance and safety requirements Accepted students will have the opportunity to stay in Career Plus until graduation requirements are met
