    Sail Training Program First Class Summer Honor Concept Activities Clubs Academics and Leadership Diversity and Fellowship Music Pride Special Interests Sports and Leisure Uniforms Resources Sponsor Program Sponsor Family Application 2015 Eligibility FAQs Overview Downloadable Application Religious Program Information Systems Administrative Systems Networks Technology Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program Boxing Club The purpose of the CGA Boxing Club is to give dedicated cadets the opportunity to compete on an intramural and intercollegiate level Collegiate participation is governed by the National Collegiate Boxing Association For those cadets looking to challenge themselves beyond the intramural level club membership allows cadets to continue to train and represent the CGA at numerous intercollegiate competitions alongside competitors from civilian schools as well as the other military service academies The Boxing Club helps develop cadets in many ways outside athletic competition Boxing is the best fear management tool CGA has to develop the skills needed as a successful boarding officers or boarding team members It supports our Guardian Ethos reminding members that failure is not an option when faced with adversity in the ring This translates as they perform missions to protect and serve our citizens Boxing helps build a lifelong commitment to physical fitness

    and Leisure Uniforms Resources Sponsor Program Sponsor Family Application 2015 Eligibility FAQs Overview Downloadable Application Religious Program Information Systems Administrative Systems Networks Technology Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program Men s Rugby The Men s Rugby Team is a club sport that competes against other DI and DII colleges in the DII New England Collegiate Rugby Conference Rugby is a physically demanding international contact sport that started in England in 1823 It is scheduled to be included in the next summer Olympics and was a precursor to American football Since 1968 the Bears have clawed their way up from playing Division IV in a Stonington cow pasture to the 2006 DII National Champions During the period from 2000 to 2008 the Bears were an impressive 76 and 12 and earned three Conference titles and five Regional Championships In 2012 the men returned to the National playoffs ending with an 9th place national ranking and again in the 2014 National 7 s championships ending with a national 8th place ranking Fall 2015 Schedule September 13 CGA UVM Keene State field September 19 CGA vs BU September 26 CGA vs UNH October 3 CGA Norwich October 10 CGA URI October 17 CGA

    Sports and Leisure Uniforms Resources Sponsor Program Sponsor Family Application 2015 Eligibility FAQs Overview Downloadable Application Religious Program Information Systems Administrative Systems Networks Technology Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program Women s Rugby Women s Rugby is a club sport that competes against other collegiate rugby teams in the New England area Players don t have to know how to play rugby to join the team they just must be willing to work hard get dirty and be dedicated The game is not for the faint of heart It involves non stop running hitting and tackling and the team prides itself on a strenuous training program to develop endurance strength and confidence The team is a close knit group of women who have excelled on and off the field The Coast Guard Women s Rugby team competes in the New England Collegiate Rugby Conference NEWCRC at a Division II level The Women s Rugby team has been Conference Champions in 2013 2014 and 2015 and has gone to the national round of 32 following each of those championships In both 2013 and 2015 the team had undefeated seasons In 2013 the Women s Rugby team won their national round of
