    most obvious change is a new layout that scales to the size of your device reduces clutter and is touch friendly To accmplish this the site was recoded to support scaling This involved using media queries to support the display of key navigation elements primarily menus on larger and smaller screens We also moved to a more visually appealing design with less clutter on the pages and easier and more predictable access to navigation tools Key changes include the following Options Menu Click on the Options Menu upper right side of several pages on the site My Page Classes Wikis ePortfolios and Blogs to view the navigation menu for the page The menu reduces the space previously devoted to navigation tools allowing you to focus on your work Additional Customization Options We ve added more options for controlling the appearance of the site including the option to hide the site banner and to hide or display announcements about new features Updated Course Templates The old templates have been retired in favor of a cleaner simpler look If you miss the old templates you can add one of three navigation menus and specify their location on the page Cleaner Designs for Wikis ePortfolios and Guides The tables of contents have been updated significantly and the design of the managements pages have been updated as well Updated Preset Layouts All of the preset layouts for the site classes wikis blogs and ePortfolios have been updated to reflect the new design New presets have been developed and some of the older presets have been retired Improved Gradebook The gradebook has undergone more changes mostly under the hood We continue to work to prepare the site for release as an open source project Gavin Miller an undergraduate at Colorado State University who works at
