    the Saved Work link Click on the title link of the folder you wish to share Click the Share link A pop up window will appear asking Do you want to share this folder with other writers Click the Yes button if you wish to share the folder or click the No button if you wish to cancel the process Clicking Yes moves the folder to the Shared Folders section

  • Add or Delete Others in a Shared Folder
    the Saved Work link Click on the folder title link you wish to add the writer to Click on the Add Writers to this Folder link Note the Add Writers to this Folder link will only show up if you are the original creator of the folder Search for other account holders through the two available methods Option 1 select the button next to the Wildcard Exact or Partial search typing the author s name in the text box and click the Search button or Option 2 select the button next to the Wildcard Exact or Partial search type in the author s email address and click the Search button The refreshed page will display your search results listed on the bottom Click on the Add to the Access List link to the right of the author s name and email address A refreshed page will display the message Thanks Your Name You have added New Person s Name to your Folder Name folder access list To remove an author s access to a shared folder Follow steps 1 3 above Click on the shared folder title link you wish to remove the writer from Click on the Remove link

    on the folder main page To email all of the work in a folder Follow steps 1 5 above Click the Email All of My Work link Fill in the necessary parts of the form and any message you want to include Note Click on the View Advice About Emailing Your Work link for additional recommendations about completing the form If sending a Working Bibliography or Outline click on the box to the left of the work you wish to include in the email Click the Email My Work button to email the work or the Start Over button to clear the form To email only selected work from the folder Follow steps 1 5 above Click the Email Only Selected Work link Fill in the necessary parts of the form and any message you want to include Note Click on the View Advice About Emailing Your Work link for additional recommendations about completing the form Click on the box to the left of the work you wish to include in the email Click the Email My Work button to email the work or the Start Over button to clear the form Note Your current display settings the use of

    an online space where you can share course materials providing communication tools that allow you to communicate with members of your class providing online cloud storage for your work with helpful activities to improve your work and offering tools that you and your instructors can use to carry out the normal work of the class These tools include course calendars and course syllabi class assignments and materials links to related resources blogs and ePortfolios group tools wikis and a gradebook Depending on how your instructor has designed the class you might have access to all or only some of the tools available through the class pages The pages in this part of the Help provide you with information about the types of tools and resources you might have access to through your class page To view your classes on your Writing Studio Personal Page Log in to the Writing Studio Click the My Page button in the main menu Click the Classes Taken link in the View section of your navigation menu Click the link title of the course you wish to view You will now see the main page of the course and its available tools Tweet HELP SITE

  • Class Calendars, Syllabi, and Assignments
    Calendar icon or link depending on the stylistics your instructor created The calendar will be set to the current month with today s date highlighted This calendar works much the same as your Personal Calendar that can be accessed on your personal page The calendar main page also gives you access to the View All Calendar Entries for this Class option Note as a student you cannot make or update class calendar entries you can only view them You can however add events to your personal calendar from here They will only show up for you not for other memebers of the class and be identified with the label Personal To view a specific date s entry in your class calendar Follow steps 1 5 above Click on the drop down menu on the date options Choose the month and year you wish to view Click on the Go button Note you can move ahead or back by one month by clicking on the forward or back arrows located to the right of the Go button Click the entry title link To view your course Syllabus Follow steps 1 5 above Click on the Syllabus icon or link To view any assignments your instructor has posted to your Writing Studio class site Follow steps 1 5 above Click the Assignments icon or link These assignments show up as a list on the left side of the page All assignment titles are hyperlinks so clicking on any of the titles will open that assignment Each assignment includes a right side options menu that has a link to a print friendly version of the assignment as well as showing the date the assignment was added to the site and when it was last updated Note each class layout and the available features
