appropriate for their current skills MATH 117 MATH 118 College Algebra in Context College Algebra in Context I II have been developed as a pair of one credit courses In MATH 117 MATH 118 concepts and skills traditionally identified with college algebra are presented in a learning environment that emphasizes active student involvement in investigating interpreting applying and communicating mathematical ideas Topics include the idea of a mathematical model linear functions quadratic functions and equations polynomials and polynomial equations rational functions inverse functions root functions and fractional exponents A Texas Instruments TI 84 graphing calculator is required MATH 124 Logarithmic and Exponential Functions The topics in this course include definitions and graphs of exponential functions definition of the logarithmic functions as the inverses of the exponential functions properties of logarithmic functions techniques for solving exponential and logarithmic equations and mathematical models involving logarithmic or exponential functions Students are required to use a scientific calculator in their investigations of these topics A Texas Instruments TI 84 is strongly recommended MATH 125 Numerical Trigonometry MATH 126 Analytic Trigonometry This sequence of two courses is designed to help students acquire conceptual understanding and computational proficiency with traditional topics from plane trigonometry Content includes

OK If you don t see Java TM Web Start Launcher in the dropdown list that means Java is not installed Download the latest version of Java for your computer Users of other browsers Choose the option that allows you to run or open the file rather than saving it The application that should be used to open the file will be called Java TM Web Start Launcher or Java Web Start or simply javaws If you cannot find any of these applications it may mean Java is not installed Download the latest version of Java for your computer When I try to run the compatibility test I get a message similar to jnlp version and launch file 1 7 only version 1 0 is supported with this version You have an old version of Java installed Download the latest version of Java for your computer I click the link to start the compatibility test I see the Java logo as the application loads then nothing happens or I get an error message that the application could not be launched There may have an old version of the application cached on this computer Open the Java Control Panel Windows Start Control Panel Java Mac Appliations Utilities Java Java Plugin Settings Within the control panel find the Temporary Internet Files area click View then in the list that comes up delete any entries with vendor set to Colorado State University and then try launching the application again My Mac says the application can t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer Launch System Preferences from the Apple menu Open the Security and Privacy icon Select the General tab Click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password if asked Choose to allow applications to be
