    Enter your username and password below to view your account information Log in to display your current print quota disk quota email settings and doorlock access for each Engineering College lab Username Password Your Engineering Account Students staff and faculty in the College of Engineering have a computer account that provides access to the College computer network Services include Login access to engineering lab computers Engineering computer lab door lock access Personal file space on the Engineering College computer network An Engineering email account username engr colostate edu Printing credits for students Access to online applications provided by ENS If you do not currently have an engineering account create one here eID vs the Engineering Account It is important to note that the Engineering account is separate from the electronic ID eID issued by the university and that the eID is a prerequesite for getting an Engineering account See eid colostate edu for more information As a student of the College of Engineering at CSU you have a computer account created that allows you to login to the lab s computers access the doors to the computer labs and print pages using your printing quota The Engineering account is separate from the CSU computer account that is given to all CSU students and faculty When does my account expire We disable your Engineering account and archive it around six months after your graduation 12 months for PhD graduates We will send you email notices before we disable your account to give you time to copy any data you want from your U drive Check the email notice you receive from ENS for the specific date your account will be disabled For more information please see our account expiration policy ENS Info On Accounts Contact ENS Contact the College Disclaimer Equal

    With Office 365 CSU students faculty and staff are able to download and install free of charge the full version of Microsoft Office Microsoft DreamSpark All Engineering students and faculty not staff are eligible for a Microsoft DreamSpark account This program allows eligible users to obtain a personal copy of several Microsoft products at no cost Products include Microsoft Windows Visual Studio Project and Visio Suggested Downloads If you own your own computer or are using a desktop or laptop computer with the Engineering network there are some software applications that will make your life much easier Software Licensing How does network licensing work Am I licensed to use that software Specific Software Notes Please Use Firefox for your Browser Mozilla Firefox is our recommended web browser and is used throughout the ENS labs Read more about Firefox support Office Productivity Software Microsoft Office is the College s standard office productivity software package It is site licensed software so it may be installed on any CSU owned computer Professor Fontane has developed a Microsoft Excel and VBA Tips web site Adobe Acrobat Pro is site licensed software so it may be installed on any CSU owned computer MATLAB MATLAB is a teaching and research software tool used heavily within the College of Engineering Learn more about MATLAB Mathcad Mathcad is a mathematics modelling software package used by several Engineering classes Mathcad is available in the college computer labs and the Virtual Lab However there are a limited number of licenses available and at peak times you may have to wait to have your turn with the software You can purchase and install your own Mathcad at a special student rate See Dr Dave s Mathcad installation for students page ANSYS ANSYS is a flow and heat transfer modeling software tool

    bachelor s degree Minor A minimum of 21 credits in a core of courses giving you insight into an area but without the depth of a major Concentration At least 12 credits that give you an opportunity to extend general learning into a more specific area Interdisciplinary Certificate A minimum of 21 credits that focus on an area and provide perspective from different disciplines Although not a major it s transcript visible The biomedical certificate is similar to a minor and is open to all majors Students earn the certificate to be more competitive graduate medical or law school applicants or to obtain positions in the biomedical industry one of the fastest growing industries in the United States Licensure The Engineering Teacher Education concentration allows students to obtain an engineering degree and a teaching license in technology education Graduates may pursue an engineering career or choose to teach engineering design principles and concepts in junior and senior high school Double Majors and Minors Engineering students have numerous options for pursuing double majors Electrical and computer engineering students might combine their degree with one in computer science An engineering degree could be combined with technical journalism or business administration Students may
