    Toward this end we promote the retention positive college experience and graduation of students by identifying and institutionalizing effective educational practices for all students We also foster the success of faculty and staff and work towards sustaining a vibrant and welcoming campus for all IE news Spring 2016 Red Cross Migrant Forum and Restoring Family Links Meeting Event Information The Central Coast Chapter of the American Red Cross Monterey San Benito Counties hosted by the CSUMB Office of Inclusive Excellence The purpose of this meeting is to learn about 1 the formation of a Migrant Forum a network of local agencies who have regular contact with migrants in their daily work and 2 the Red Cross Restoring Family Links RFL program and services The purpose of the Migrant Forum is to establish a network to stay informed of services and support available to the migrant population on the central coast to brainstorm difficult situations and in general to meet others in the community to prevent duplication of services RFL is a program of the American Red Cross in partnership with the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement RFL offers worldwide tracing services for family members whose lines of communication have been broken as a result of armed conflict natural disaster economic hardship or vulnerabilities such as age or ill health For the displaced these services provide hope and a way to restore contact with loved ones DATE Monday February 8 TIME 3 30 5 00 p m LOCATION University Center Living Room Feel Free to pass this on to any colleagues who may be interested Willy Wilkinson s Born on the Edge of Race and Gender Releases Today Willy Wilkinson s Born on the Edge of Race and Gender A Voice for Cultural Competency officially goes on sale today
