    a Librarian Live Chat 24 7 Text a Librarian Reference Desk Subject Specialists Resolving Problems Accessing Restricted Databases from Off Campus You see the login screen but after entering your CSUN User ID and password you do not get access to the database Possible reasons are You have made an error entering your CSUN User ID and password This is the same ID you use to login to the Portal or WebMail Do not use your student ID number or barcode To obtain your CSUN User ID or reset your password please go to the myNorthridge Portal and select the appropriate link Your Library account has expired If you haven t used your Library barcode in a long time and you are still a current student faculty or staff member you ll need to come to the Oviatt Library circulation desk and get your Library account renewed To check the status of your Library account yourself go to http suncat csun edu patroninfo html The Library system cannot verify your account If you are a current student faculty or staff member this generally means we have not yet received information regarding your current status Please submit a Login to Library Resources Problem Report You gain access to the restricted resource but it does not appear to be functioning properly or the links don t work Make sure you have cookies enabled Many of our databases use cookies to manage your search session Pop up blockers can disable links used in the databases so turn any pop up blocker in your browser off If you ve tried these suggestions and still are having troubles please submit a Login to Library Resources Problem Report Research Assistance Research Assistance Overview How To Guides Tutorials Subject Guides Course Guides Ask a Librarian Citing Your

    desktop a few days sooner than a paper photocopy would arrive on your real desktop Electronic delivery is available for items that are delivered to us electronically from the lending library How do I sign up for electronic delivery Logon to the ILL system From the main menu click the button labeled Change Personal Information For the choice Preferred Electronic Delivery if Possible pdf file via web choose Yes to have your electronic articles posted to your ILL account How do I know if my computer can receive electronic articles You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed and configured to work with your Web browser in order to view download and print these articles If you can read the sample page then your computer has the necessary software installed to work with your Web browser However if your computer tells you the file type is unknown and asks if you want to save the file to disk then you need to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader software How do I get Adobe Acrobat Reader Acrobat Reader is available without charge from Adobe Systems Inc Click the Get Acrobat Reader button to go directly to the download page How do I get my articles when they arrive Logon to the ILL system On the main menu choose View Download Electronically Received Articles This will give you a list of all items that you have waiting to view or download How do I know which requests will be electronically delivered and which ones will not The ILL system sends you an e mail notification for each item received That e mail will include information about the delivery method What if I do not want electronic delivery Paper delivery is the default Electronic delivery will be provided only if you choose it as
