  • Special Event Insurance
    requirements Toward that end the Risk Management Office offers a Special Event Insurance Program that event sponsors can purchase through Risk Management This coverage is available only for events that will be held on campus Risk Management facilitates the arrangement but coverage and underwriting rules are solely that of the private insurance company Organizations are not required to use this insurance facility They may arrange for and provide their own insurance coverage from any insurer that meets the CSU s requirements AM Best Rated A VII or better It is recognized that not every person or organization has their own liability coverage This optional liability coverage program is designed to protect the event holder sonsor and the University from liabilities which arise during events that are held on campus For more information on purchasing this coverage contact Risk Management at 916 278 7233 General Liabilty Coverage 1 000 000 Each Occurrence 2 000 000 General Aggregate Limit 1 000 000 Products Food Only Aggregate Limit Exclusions Partial List Owned Real and Personal Property Pyrotechnics Mechanical Amusement Devices Rap or Heavy Metal Hip Hop Concerts including dances which play this Terrorist Exclusion Collapse of Tents Punitive Damages Workers Compensation Auto Liability Other exclusions also apply Specific Events Not Covered Circuses Motorized Sporting Equipment Boxing Wrestling Hockey or any physical contact sport including Martial Arts Football or Rugby Rodeos and Roping Events Aircraft and Balloon Events Professional Sporting Activities Pyrotechnics of any kind Coverage Terms Partial List Coverage is on an Occurrence Form Participants Not Excluded This insurance does not apply to bodily injury to any person while practicing for or participating in any sports athletic contest or exhibition Deductible None Covered Events Types Partial List Auto Shows Proms Dances Dog Shows Parades Ethnic Celebrations Horse Shows no Rodeos Weddings and Wedding

  • Procedures for Requesting Space
    1pm Hours M F during summer 8 30am 3 30pm closed 12 1pm Holiday Closure Dates PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING SPACE Space Management schedules facilities for all events on a per semester basis after academic classes have been settled into classrooms The event scheduling timelines are the same every year For best facilities selection and priority scheduling each year note the following priority deadlines for submitting space request forms Requests submitted after the priority deadlines will be processed in the order they are received along with all other requests from the campus and community February 1st for all Summer requests June 1st for all Fall requests October 1s t for all Winter and Spring requests Visit Space Request Forms to choose the correct form to complete to request use of University facilities Campus departments are welcome to submit Space Request Forms for future events with the understanding that their requests will be held on file until the appropriate time for scheduling that semester View Use of University Facilities Process and Deadlines PDF for important information Please note that campus sponsored events involving external organizations require 60 days advance notice Student organizations groups shall contact the Events Services Office in the University

    is responsible for additional accommodation Required deposit varies per event Sacramento State reserves the right to adjust fees as required For your convenience you may download a PDF version of rental fees to save or print for future use Athletic Facilities Daily Use Fee Gymnasiums Base rate is for 8 hours or less Specialized Facilities 100 then 25 hour North Gym YSM 171 No bleachers 300 then 25 hour South Gym YSM 100 1 030 bleacher seats 600 then 50 hour YSM Locker Rooms Showers includes bathrooms 75 each Racquetball Courts Tournament only 6 courts 40 court Tennis Courts Tournaments only 1 court maximum Note No lights 14 courts available 40 court Practice Field or Practice Track No lights 100 Intramural Fields No lights Note 4 fields scheduled as a group of 4 300 75 per field Track Inside Hornet Stadium Charges are for setup to vacate time and do not include additional stadium charges 100 1st 2 hours then 25 hour Hornet Stadium Base rate is for 8 hours or less Capacity 20 000 For non profit sports events football track field decathlons 900 3 000 as quoted then 50 hour Stadium rental fees for special events as quoted Above rates do not apply Stadium rental fee may include bleachers press box ticket booths stadium field restrooms and enclosed areas Cost does NOT include track lining cleanup PA system scoreboard clock attendants event manager elevator operators police parking stadium lighting and electrical access or any other services or equiment Swimming Pool Base rate is for 8 hours or less 300 then 25 hour Auditoriums Daily Use Fee Theatres Base rate is for 8 hours or less University Theatre SHS 113 capacity 415 400 then 50 hour Playwrights Theatre SHS 101 capacity 150 200 200 then 25 hour Studio Theatre
