    must register AND pay by May 31st at 5pm Orientation Registration and Payment Information View step by step payment instructions What is New Student Orientation New Student Orientation NSO is a program for incoming Stanislaus State students designed to provide you with information about University requirements general education requirements major academic advising and student programs and services Each NSO includes informational sessions with a variety of Stanislaus State staff and faculty to assist you with academic advising and course registration Your attendance and participation in your New Student Orientation will greatly enhance your educational experience at Stanislaus State By the end of the day you will have a general understanding of the campus layout and university resources How Will NSO Benefit Me Preferred class selection and scheduling Meet with faculty from your major in a group setting to discuss major requirements Opportunity to become familiar with campus prior to first day of classes Interaction with other new students as well as University faculty and staff Gain knowledge of University policies and graduation requirements Obtain information of campus services available to you as a student Receive a student handbook Requirements to attend NSO and How Much Does it Cost To be eligible to attend NSO and enroll in any courses all students must take the EPT ELM placement tests or be exempt at the time of registering for NSO You should register as soon as possible as space is very limited in each NSO and be sure to follow payment instructions found here There is a mandatory New Student Orientation fee of 75 for all new students payment is required by the specified deadline above The NSO fee is a mandatory fee charged to all new undergraduate students at Stanislaus State The NSO fee is separate from and in addition to

    Theatre Department Chair Hello And welcome to the new Stanislaus State Theatre Web site As you can see we a re in the process of creating a new look and welcome your ideas and feedback Please drop me a line jmayer csustan edu and let me know what you think The Stanislaus State Theatre Department is built on the premise stated by the famed English director Peter Brook a play is called a play for a very important resaon a play is play We want our theatre students and the people who attend our theatre to enjoy the process of theatre by reveling in the camaraderie of the ensemble in the production process Lee Strasberg when talking about the Group Theatre said there will be no stars in our theatre and that is a guiding principle upon which the Stanislaus State Theate is built Our theatre is a collective of the joint efforts of many Our campus is an oasis in the middle of the Central Valley of California With enrollment of around 9 000 students the one on one opportunities for interaction between faculty and students are ever present Nowhere is that more true than in the theatre department
