    Parents Living On Campus Living Off Campus Tuition Fees 7 970 7 970 7 970 Books and Supplies 1 780 1 780 1 780 Room and Board 4 770 9 508 11 500 Transportation 1 350 980 1 350 Personal Misc 1 392 1 392 1 392 Total 17 262 21 630 23 992 If you have additional educational expenses not included above Describe in writing the type s and amount s of unanticipated education related expenses dental medical optical child care transportation etc you have will incurred during the academic year for which you are requesting additional financial aid funding Attach copies of bills or receipts for each expense Determining Financial Aid Need or Eligibility The financial aid application you submit allows a processor for the U S Department of Education to apply a standard formula to the information you have provided and determine you eligibility for financial aid Contribution EFC number the amount you and or your family are expected to contribute toward your education When we receive all application materials required for your file a counselor reviews the application in a process called need analysis In need analysis income an set information from both the student and the parent is reviewed an the EFC is subtracted from the costs of attendance for one academic year The remainder is the amount of financial need eligibility for financial assistance The Cost of Education The cost of education is the amount the University estimates that the student will spend to attend college for the academic year The cost of education usually includes tuition fee room and board books supplies transportation and miscellaneous personal expenses Room and board will vary depending on which CSU campus the student attends and whether or not the student lives with parents in a University residence

    pay all fees associated with their enrollment and with other University policies Students who fail to pay tuition fees when due as listed under Fee Payment Deadlines will be subject to disenrollment and late payment fees Your enrollment is not cancelled by not attending classes for which you have registered Students may not rely on any University personnel including faculty instructors school or college deans department secretaries or any other person to add or drop classes on the student s behalf Additionally for state supported terms failure to withdraw from all courses prior to the first day of the term will subject the student to pro rated tuition The pro rata liability is determined on the basis of the date of the student s withdrawal and the length of the academic period The length of the academic period is calculated from the first day of instruction through the final exam day of the period and excludes any breaks of five 5 days or more Only on time payment or timely withdrawal from all classes will exempt students from a debt to the University and late payment fees If you will not be attending the University or you will be reducing your unit enrollment you must drop your classes via the Web or by submitting a Withdrawal form to Enrollment Services The Registration HelpLine 209 667 3039 is available to assist with Web registration problems 8 00 a m to 5 00 p m during Fall Winter Spring 8 00 a m to 4 00 p m during the Summer Monday through Friday Tuition fees are due in accordance with the Fee Payment deadlines You may review the status of your financial aid or verify your balance due by visiting my CSUSTAN Installment Plan Policy An installment payment plan IPP is
