    Mission Learning Outcomes Mission Learning Outcomes Mission Our mission is to provide assistance which empowers students to take personal responsibility in the process of identifying developing implementing and evaluating career plans in preparation for employment after graduation We develop relationships with a diverse group of organizations to obtain occupational information and opportunities for students that will guide their career development process Career Services also serves as a resource for employers seeking to recruit well educated graduates to fill the Central Valley regionâ s employment needs Learning Outcomes Career services support co curricular educational growth Services and programs are designed to promote outcomes through identified resources and purposeful guidance Students will learn how to develop a career plan and occupational options through the use of individual career advising attendance of one or more workshops on career topics and completion of a resume appropriate for seeking employment Students will learn to seek appropriate resources through exploration of the web resources for collecting data and identifying options as well as review of periodicals books videos and occupational materials in the career library Students will develop practical competence through identification of internship opportunities and obtaining experience relating to their degree by serving an internship

    life activities of such individual any person who has a record of such impairment or any person who is regarded as having such impairment Qualified individual with a disability shall mean an individual with a disability who meets the academic and technical standards requisite for admission or participation in the education programs of the CSU campuses This includes students with disabilities participating in clinical or field placements that are offered as part of a programâ s field of study meets the essential eligibility requirements for the receipt of services or the participation in programs or activities provided by a public entity regardless of reasonable modifications to rules policies or practices the provision of auxiliary aids and services the removal of architectural communication or transportation barriers Visual Limitation Blindness or partial sight to the degree that it impedes the educational process and may necessitate accommodations support services or programs Communication Disability Limitations in the speech and or hearing processes that impede the educational process and may necessitate accommodations support services or programs Deaf and Hard of Hearing Limitation in the hearing process that impedes the educational process and necessitates accommodations support services or programs Students in this category may require communication accommodation such as oral or sign language interpreters note taking services or real time captioning services Mobility Limitation Limitation in locomotion or motor functions that indicates a need for accommodations support services or programs Included in this category are persons who have asthma cardiovascular problems or other physical limitations that restrict the ability to function without accommodations in the campus environment Learning Disability A generic term that refers to the heterogeneous group of disorders manifested by difficulties in the acquisition and use of listening speaking reading writing reasoning or mathematical abilities due to neurological dysfunction Even though a learning disability
