    of its support unit review As a result of the unitâ s self study action plans are formulated for enhancing the quality of administrative units Student Affairs programming and student learning through co curricular activities Student Affairs conducts regular assessments and will begin a second phase of assessment in 2008 09 as part of the campus Support Unit Review Each of the departmentâ s assessment plans as measured in Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education include an evaluation of the following 13 components Department Mission Program Leadership Organization and Management Human Resources Financial Resources Facilities Technology and Equipment Legal Responsibilities Equity and Access Campus and External Relations Diversity Ethics and Assessment and Evaluation In addition Student Affairs provides numerous co curricular programs which are fundamental to the studentsâ learning process by providing opportunities to engage in learning in a setting other than a formal academic classroom These programs include but are not limited to new student orientation student leadership health and wellness personal development athletic teams and peer counselors To this end each department within Student Affairs has established student learning outcomes and tracks their progress in meeting these outcomes These competencies and skills help to enhance and guide the students in their academic endeavors Our co curricular programs are assessed on an annual basis the results of which are published in our annual report The student learning outcomes are based on areas developed through the work of ACPA and NASPA as articulated in Learning Reconsidered They cover the following seven areas Knowledge Acquisition Integration and Application Humanitarianism Civic Engagement Inter Intra Personal Competence Practical Competence Persistence and Academic Achievement Cognitive Complexity The Support Unit Review is conducted every five years and is comprised of both the CAS Standards and co curricular program review The Student Affairs

    2016 begin January 28 Registration forms are available for download below or in the UEE office located in the Mary Stuart Rogers MSR building Suite 240 in January Forms will not be accepted until January 28 Online registration is not available for Open University Undergrad registration form Grad registration form Registration is on a first come first served basis Instructor approval with his her signature or a permission number is required Registration Steps View the Spring 2016 class schedule Note your course selection s Download a registration form from this web page or pick one up from MSR 240 in January Attend the first class meeting and obtain the instructor s signature or permission number on the form Drop off your completed form and pay for course fees in MSR 240 or mail us your completed form with full payment You must submit the form by 5 p m on February 11 to avoid the 25 late fee Forms submitted between February 12 24 will be accepted with the 25 late fee All forms must be received in the office by 5 p m on February 24 Postmarks will not be accepted Mailing address CSU Stanislaus Extended Education One University Circle MSR 240 Turlock CA 95382 Note One form for each class is required Important Reminders Courses may be cancelled due to low enrollment Registration does not guarantee a course will not be cancelled Undergraduate level courses are numbered from 1000 to 4995 Graduate level courses are numbered 5000 and above Spring 2016 Open University Fees Payment Undergraduate Students 322 per unit Graduate Students 355 per unit Fees subject to change without notice Payment is due at the time of registration Financial aid is not available Payment plans are not available Payment Deadlines Refunds Open registration January 28 February 24
