    Computer Science and my minor as Ancient and Classical Studies As Post Bacc in CS I do a little bit of everything Officially I am a leader of both Cluster and CS system administrator applied groups and the Field Science student faculty research group where we work on interesting scientific problems while making field science more accessible multidisciplinary and easy to use I also tutor and T A classes and pretty much do whatever I m needed to do My interests in the field of computer science are all over from system administration programming and mobile app development to high performance computing and bioinformatics I absolutely love Python and if I could write Python all day err day that would be amazing Teaching computer science and trying to make it easier and less intimidating to get into is a big passion of mine Outside of computer science I m somewhat of a history buff especially about Ancient Greece I love crosswords jigsaw puzzles and pretty much any puzzle I m a board game geek and actually created one with a partner in the past year come ask me about it Other random things I ve been playing rugby for many

    a Web Application Developer with local Summersault LLC In January 2011 he started as a Software Developer with Cox Media Group Digital in Atlanta GA where he works applying Python and Django to the needs of media organizations like the Atlanta Journal Constitution WSBTV and the Clark Howard show He loved his time as a CS student at Earlham and continues to immerse himself in the field He is very interested in the intersection of art and programming and focuses primarily on computer assisted poetry and music He maintains an active github account and puts all of his personal projects there Aaron Weeden Class of 2010 Aaron is back at Earlham for the 2010 2011 school year doing system and network administration work as the Post Baccalaureate Intern for Earlham s CS department performing research in computational linguistics with the Theory Group and developing software and hardware for the BCCD and LittleFe projects Samuel Wein Class of 2010 Currently working for the European Bioinformatics institute as a Java programmer He plans to continue on to a masters and is looking at programs in Switzerland Andrew Fitz Gibbon Class of 2009 Currently employed as a Computational Scientist and Mentor with the Shodor Education Foundation Nathan Myers Class of 2008 After graduating from Earlham he completed graduate school at Indiana University He is currently employed as a Software Developer with Cerner Corporation in Kansas City Missouri Florian Loretan Class of 2007 Co founder of Wunderkraut GmbH a company based in Munich providing expert Drupal services for the european market He is also an active participant in the Drupal project both as a developer and as an event organizer Shawn Smith Class of 2007 Owns his own website development and internet marketing company in Indianapolis IN called netstuffers They also own and operate
