    Become a Major or Minor Course Requirements for Majors Course Requirements for Minors Scholarships Fellowships and Awards Student Employment Other Resources Semester Courses Interactive Campus Maps Oklahoma Atlas Institute NASA Scholars Program Cartographic and Related Associations ECU Alumni Map Job Board The NASA National Space Grant College Fellowship Program NASA initiated the National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program also known as Space Grant in 1989 Space Grant is a national network of colleges and universities These institutions are working to expand opportunities for Americans to understand and participate in NASA s aeronautics and space projects by supporting and enhancing science and engineering education research and public outreach efforts The Space Grant national network includes over 850 affiliates from universities colleges industry museums science centers and state and local agencies These affiliates belong to one of 52 consortia in all 50 states the District of Columbia and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico The 52 consortia fund fellowships and scholarships for students pursuing careers in science mathematics engineering and technology or STEM as well as curriculum enhancement and faculty development Member colleges and universities also administer pre college and public service education projects in their states The Oklahoma Space Grant Consortium represents a statewide partnership of four charter institutional affiliates The University of Oklahoma Oklahoma State University Cameron University Langston University four regional institutional affiliates East Central University Southeastern Oklahoma State University Southern Nazarene University and Southwestern Oklahoma State University two academic affiliates Application Engineering Program Center for Spatial Analysis two industrial affiliates Frontier Electronic Systems Corporation Science Applications International Corporation one city government affiliate Norman Economic Development Coalition and five informal science education affiliates Kirkpatrick Air and Space Museum at Omniplex STARBASE Oklahoma Inc K20 Center Space Explorers Inc Tom Stafford Air and Space Museum working to enhance opportunities for
