    please feel free to stop by and visit us on the 2nd floor give us a call at 312 893 7210 or email us at email protected All Erikson staff faculty members and project staff have full use of library resources books research databases A V items etc Can you tell me if you have this book Whether you re on campus or off you can find this out by searching our catalog Head to the library homepage at library erikson edu and type the title or keywords into the search box located under Search for books assessment kits and A V items If we have the book it ll show up in the list of results Those results will also list whether or not a book is checked out I m off campus how do I use the databases Click on whichever database you d like to search A screen will pop up asking for a username and password use you Erikson email username without the Erikson edu and Erikson email password Search away How do I add edit delete a reading from my course Head to dolly erikson edu ares ares dll and log in with your Erikson email username without the Erikson edu and Erikson email password You ll see a list of all of your courses If you d like to edit or delete a reading click on the course that the reading is from The list of readings for the course will pop up Click on the reading you d like to change and an editing screen will pop up where you can edit or delete it If you d like to add a new reading click on the course you d like to add a reading to On the left sidebar under Proxy course

    organizing preserving and providing access to Erikson s historical records The archives feature a physical collection of items located in the Edward Neisser Library and a digital collection of photos available via CARLI Digital Collections Locating archival resources Most of our archival materials are currently shelved in archival boxes in the Edward Neisser Library Staff Workroom room 212 The archives also has a small collection of manuscripts which can be found in the display case in room 215 If you re curious about what we have before visiting us please take a look at this document PDF which lists our collections the categories referred to as series within each collection and each collection s box location Each collection has a link to another PDF document describing the collection and its categories in greater detail Visiting the archives Due to the singular nature of the materials items held by the archives do not circulate Exceptions will be considered on a case by case basis Food drinks and personal scanners are not permitted in the archives Please feel free to bring pencils paper and laptops Read our access policies for more information or contact email protected If you would like to visit

    Library s collection and that are appropriate to the Library s role in meeting the academic mission of Erikson Institute Gifts are evaluated on the basis of present academic need scholarly value and physical condition As a general rule the Library does not accept popular magazines mass market paperbacks books in poor physical condition or materials that do not contribute to the academic mission of Erikson Institute Before you bring your donations to us Please consider checking our online catalog to see if we already have copies of these items We will add duplicate copies to our collection upon occasion e g if the titles circulate frequently are used for Erikson courses or contain information that is especially relevant to the academic mission of Erikson Institute If the Library already owns those titles or if you would like to explore other additional donation opportunities please consider donating your items to organizations such as Open Books or Chicago Books to Women in Prison Our donation process Due to space limitations and processing costs not all donations can be placed in the library Donated library materials will be retained when their content contributes to the purpose of the Edward Neisser Library collection Unless otherwise stated by the donor donations are accepted on the condition that the Library is free to sell or discard any materials that do not meet the collection criteria Any deviation from this policy must be negotiated before the donation takes place Gift materials accepted for the collections will be given the same care and protection that is bestowed on purchased materials and that the library assume no responsibility or liability of any kind for any loss or injury which may occur in spite of such care and protection If contact information is available the Library will provide a
