    central location you are ready to open them in Microsoft Office Picture Manager for editing Open your picture folder and right click on the first picture file Select Open With and choose Microsoft Office Picture Manager View and Open Pictures There are 3 ways to view your images Thumbnail View Filmstrip View and Single Picture View These options are available from the View menu OR the toolbar icons Thumbnail Filmstrip and Single Picture Viewing Options from the View menu Thumbnail Filmstrip and Single Picture Viewing Options on the toolbar Thumbnail View will allow you to see each image in miniature In thumbnail view you can select more than one picture to edit at one time or batch edit You can also double click on a picture and have it open in Single Picture View Filmstrip View displays the images along the bottom of the screen with the selected image enlarged and positioned above Single Picture View displays only the selected image Resize Your Pictures Open the pictures with Microsoft Office Picture Manager To select one picture click the picture To select multiple pictures that are next to each other in either Thumbnail or Filmstrip view select the first picture in the group hold down SHIFT and then select the last picture you want to work with To select multiple pictures that are not next to each other in either Thumbnail or Filmstrip view select one picture hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard and then select each additional picture you want to work with To select all the pictures in either Thumbnail or Filmstrip view from the Edit menu choose Select All Right Click on highlighted images and click on Open Choose Thumbnail View from the View tab Choose the picture s you want to resize From the Picture

    Image Resize Mac OS Minimum Requirements Mac OS X Version 10 5 Leopard Preview 4 1 Acquire and Organize Your Pictures First place all of the pictures you want to use whether they re from a scanner digital camera or the Internet in a central location folder Create a folder for your original pictures You can organize this folder even further by using subfolders i e Week1 Week2 Week 3 etc Make a separate sub folder for your revised pictures It is always a good idea to work with copies to avoid an unintentional permanent change If you are working with your original files and you do not export your pictures correctly the changes you make will replace your originals The result may be a loss of the high resolution print quality picture For example if you have folder called Colloquium Photos you should make a copy of the folder and name it something different such as Colloquium Photos Resized and work with pictures in that folder Resizing Pictures Open your Preview application Go to T ools and choose Adjust Size Once the Image Dimensions window appears change the Resolution to 72 Make sure you have both Scale proportionally and

    Proctoring for Distance Learning The FGCU Testing Center offers testing services for those students taking distance learning courses through other universities and colleges This service is made available to FGCU students students from other institutions and the general public Fee For Service 30 for an exam of 2 hours or less and 10 for each additional hour or any portion of an hour payable at the time of the test The fee is based on the maximum exam time permitted as defined by your institution Proctor fees are not pro rated The Testing Center reserves the right to review the exam BEFORE confirming a final test date and fee It is the examinee s responsibility to provide in advance all information regarding the test so that an appropriate test date and fee can be set Rescheduling Fee If you schedule a date and time for your exam and you cannot come into take your test there will be a 20 fee to reschedule to another date Important Guidelines Your test is given in strict accordance to instructions from the test sponsor institution No hats sunglasses wrist watches food drinks cellular phones electronic devices or coats jackets are allowed in the testing room Appointments are required for every test session and must be made at least 24 hours in advance Appointments may only be made after we receive the test instructions and exam from your home institution All seating is subject to availability Proctoring services are provided as a community service We cannot guarantee the accommodation of all exams or examinees Circumstances such as power outages internet outages outside noise weather related emergencies etc are beyond the control of the Testing Center and may affect your exam We will work with you and your institution to reach an agreeable decision in
