    a student to pay Tuition Fees after the published due date Deferments do not relieve students of their obligation to pay The fee deferment only covers Tuition Fees and must be completed prior to the Tuition Payment Deadline as published on the respective Academic Calendar Tuition Fees will not be deferred until all past due balances have been paid in full If Tuition Fees are not paid in full by the agreed upon deferment date a 100 late payment fee will be assessed If for any reason the anticipated funds do not arrive it is still the responsibility of the student to pay the outstanding balance in full Ultimately it is a responsibility of all students to check their Bill Payment Center account frequently throughout the term to ensure that they are in good financial standing with the University Veterans shall be entitled to a fee deferment in accordance with F S 1009 27 Veterans who demonstrate eligibility to receive VA benefits may request deferment of Tuition Fees by submitting appropriate documentation to the Office of the Registrar prior to the Tuition Payment Deadline as published on the respective Academic Calendar Depending on eligibility the student may sign a Promissory Note to defer their Tuition Fees or the student may be assigned to a Third Party Payment Contract whereby Tuition Fees are paid directly to the University by the VA For additional information on VA benefits please click here Florida Gulf Coast University submits invoices to all Agencies and Third Parties requesting payment each semester The Bursar s Office can only accept payment from Agencies and Third Parties who have executed a written agreement with the University and agree to pay upon receipt of the invoice The Bursar s Office cannot accept any contracts or letters of authorization that are

    type of Financial Aid you are awarded When you log onto Gulfline you will see a charge on your account for your purchases When your Financial Aid is disbursed it will be applied toward this charge You must have an Eagle ID in order to take advantage of this service What can I spend this money on This service allows you to use your excess Financial Aid to purchase books through the FGCU Bookstore and or to purchase a meal plan through Eagle Dining It is up to you on how you want to split your purchases For example If you have 1 000 00 in excess Financial Aid you have the option to use the entire amount at the bookstore or the entire amount to purchase a meal plan or you could choose to use a portion of your aid at both places What types of Financial Aid can be used for this service Private Scholarships Foundation Scholarships Grants Bright Futures Loans Florida Prepaid The sum of the Financial Aid listed above must be greater than your Total Account Balance to take advantage of this service What criteria do I have to meet to take advantage of this service Students must meet the following criteria in order to use this service Listed below are the types of Financial Aid available for use with this service and their respective criteria that must be completed prior to the beginning of the Financial Aid Advance Purchase Program period Please note Private Scholarships Foundation Scholarships Grants Bright Futures and Loans require the Terms and Conditions to be completed Private Scholarships a No additional requirements required Foundation Scholarships a The thank you letter must be completed b The picture must be taken c Scholarship acceptance form must be received Grants a No additional requirements

    whether you have attended another college or university before applying to FGCU You can review the list of required items by logging into your Future Eagle Account If there are any outstanding items please send them to our office as quickly as possible You must send all documents directly to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions Transcripts All transcripts must be official and sent directly to The Office of Undergraduate Admissions Please send official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended We cannot accept college credit off of another colleges or university s transcript Failure to send all transcripts will delay the application process SAT ACT Scores Will be accepted as official if they are sent directly from the College Board or ACT Please make sure to include FGCU s School Code for the SAT 5221 and the ACT 0733 Admission Deadlines Our admission deadlines vary based on your student type i e freshman or transfer and the term your seeking admissions There is a priority admissions deadline for Freshman applicants for the summer and fall terms Students who are admitted by February 15 th will be given 1 st priority for enrollment Students who qualify for admission after this date will be offered admission on a space available basis Please note that this applies to First Time in College applicants only and transfers including Second Bachelor Degree should refer to the web site for their own application deadlines Orientation Immunization If you are admitted to the University you will need to register for an Eagle View Orientation session you can only sign up after you have been admitted to FGCU Orientation is required and is an essential first step in your transition to the university environment At orientation you will receive important information that will facilitate your success at FGCU You will receive academic advising and will be able to register for classes Students who do not register for orientation in a timely manner may be subject to have their admissions cancelled If you have not already done so you will be required to provide proof of immunization before you can register for classes Please see the following web site for additional information http www fgcu edu studenthealth immunizations html Housing You may apply for housing after you are officially admitted to the university by visiting the Office of Housing Residence Life web site at http studentservices fgcu edu Housing We encourage you to visit this website for updated information on the housing application fees and deadlines Housing does have a priority deadlines for applications and if you are interested in living on campus you need to apply EARLY Tuition Waivers Scholarships and Financial Aid If you have not yet filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid FAFSA we encourage you to do so immediately at www fafsa ed gov If you have completed the FAFSA but did not include FGCU among the colleges and universities that should receive your application information you can add FGCU to
