    act as their College Administrator within the system Each College Administrator has the ability to add other users from their college Users are classified as Observers or as Initiators An observer can view and comment on all courses in the system An initiator can enter and modify their own requests Request information is 1 entered 2 reviewed and finally 3 saved into the system Requests may be re opened and modified after the first submission save until the information is Approved by the appropriate College Administrator Course initiators should know what they plan to enter for 4 important fields on a request entry form They are the course prefix course level 3 digit course number and course title 30 characters or less Please note For new courses there must be a suggested 3 digit course number in CMS However when putting this course in program information for the catalog copy the suggested 3 digit course number must be represented with an XXX For example the level and suggested 3 digit course number of 4123 would be represented as 4XXX in the catalog copy for any programs that would include this course Read the 3 page Statewide Course Numbering Guide Learn more about how to arrive at your suggested course number Initiators can go back and make as many changes as necessary to their own saved requests in the CMS The only thing that will prevent an initiator from making changes is final approval by their College Administrator Once the College Administrator approves a course it is closed to further modification and presented to the appropriate Curriculum Team for review and approval Download Curriculum Proposal Forms Degree Major Revision New Certificate and Certificate Revision New Minor and Minor Revision Curriculum Development Guidelines describes general procedures for the planning and approval of

    to drop a class using GULFLINE You will either have to drop the class in person or fax mail a drop form FORMS to the Office of the Registrar Office of Registration and Records Florida Gulf Coast University 10501 FGCU BLVD South Fort Myers FL 33965 6565 Fax Number 239 590 7983 open I missed the deadline to withdraw without academic penalty What can I do If you drop a class after the deadline to withdraw from a class without academic penalty you will receive a WF grade for that particular class You may wish to consider filing an appeal for a late withdrawal These appeals are handled through the College where the course was taken Refer to the appropriate College for the correct forms and procedure open How do I get my PIN number First time user Your PIN number is communicated via email PINs may be obtained from the Office of the Registrar in person or by request In person requests will require a picture ID PINs will not be provided via fax or telephone Returning users If you forgot your PIN use Forgot Pin button You will be asked to provide the correct answer to your challenge questions and then click Submit You will then be asked to enter a new PIN If your PIN becomes disabled you will be asked to contact the Office of the Registrar Student Records open How can I get an Official Transcript Official Transcript Students or alumnus with outstanding financial obligations to FGCU will not receive a transcript until these obligations have been cleared The Office of the Registrar is not permitted to fax or e mail official or unofficial transcripts There is a 10 00 fee for each official transcript requested An official transcript can be requested by one of the following ways 1 Transcript Request Form The entire form must be COMPLETED and may be obtained at http www fgcu edu Registrar files TranscriptRequest pdf The request must include Student name University ID number Provide a COMPLETE address of where transcript will be sent the Registrar s Office is not responsible for incomplete addresses including city state and zip code Transcripts may be requested for pick up at the Office of the Registrar A photo ID is required upon pick up A student requesting their transcript to be picked up by another individual must indicate this information on the 3rd Party Pick up area of the request form SIGNATURE Payment Please bring or mail your check or money order made out to FGCU along with your request to the following address FGCU Attn Cashier s Office 10501 FGU Blvd South Ft Myers FL 33965 6565 Approved by the FGCU UBOT October 2002 effective Spring 2003 2 Transcripts may be requested online using Gulfline Online requests will require the following Login using University ID number and PIN Once signed on go to Student Financial Aid Student Records Request Printed Official Unofficial Transcript Follow online directions Provide a COMPLETE address of
