    they plan to attend for eligibility and application procedures Those who wish to attend the University of Hawai i through the WUE program should contact the Admissions Office at the University of Hawai i at Manoa or the University of Hawai i at Hilo campuses for more information For Hawai i residents who wish to attend a participating school in the WICHE states please contact the Admissions Office of the school you plan to attend For a list of participating WUE institutions click here to visit WICHE s WUE website Western Regional Graduate Program WRGP Through the WRGP high quality and distinctive graduate programs are offered to qualifying students in the western region at resident tuition rate Students apply for admissions directly to the department of the institution they plan to enroll in and identify themselves as a WICHE WRGP applicant For a list of participating WRGP programs available click here to visit WICHE s WRGP website Professional Student Exchange Program PSEP PSEP enables qualified residents from WICHE participating states affordable access to enroll in selected out of state professional healthcare programs at participating WICHE institutions when such programs are not available at a public institution in their home state Many Hawai i residents must attend professional schools out of state to obtain the necessary education and training needed for professional healthcare positions Therefore the State of Hawai i through WICHE PSEP helps subsidize the tuition costs for qualifying Hawai i residents to attend a participating WICHE PSEP program In return Hawai i WICHE PSEP students are required to return to work in Hawai i after completing their program of study PSEP selected students pay reduced levels of tuition at the WICHE participating institution The home state pays a negotiated support fee designed to cover a portion of the cost

    9 Room 5 Honolulu HI 96822 2399 tel 808 956 8753 RAPS Travel Grant Guidelines RAPS scholars are eligible to apply for a travel grant good for up to 2000 to further their academic studies and enhance their educational program In order to qualify for the grant you must provide RAPS Travel Grant Proposal RAPS Travel Grant Completion Documentation of expenses occurred See below for more information and links to download each of these forms where applicable 1 RAPS Travel Grant Proposal The Travel Grant Proposal provides you with an opportunity to articulate the relationship between the travel and your academic program It is essential that there be a direct and explicit connection between those two going to another country simply because it would broaden your cultural horizons is not sufficient reason to earn the travel grant The Proposal also allows you to begin detailing your journey determining the specifics of your travel including the logistics and the budget If approved it is important that you save all receipts to submit with your travel completion paperwork RAPS Travel Grant Proposals must be submitted no later than four weeks before the intended day of travel All proposals are subject to approval Download the travel grant proposal PDF 2 RAPS Travel Grant Completion The Travel Grant Completion provides you with an opportunity to reflect on your travel and how it contributed to your understanding of yourself and your academic program and challenges you to consider how you will apply what you learned RAPS Travel Grant Completions must be submitted within four weeks of return from travel Download the travel grant completion PDF 3 Documentation of expenses occurred All travel receipts for reimbursement must be submitted with your itemized expenses Documentation of expenses and requests for reimbursement must be submitted within four weeks
