    of career assessment development and attainment needs The Hesston College career services office coordinates an integrated campus wide effort with the entire faculty and staff community All Hesston college students have access to the services offered Career Assessment Students have access to a variety of interest values skills and personality assessment activities to help determine how individual traits and preferences can influence career choices Career Counseling Every student is encouraged to meet with the director of career services in order to assess their current career planning needs and organize an individualized career plan Job Search Whether it is help with resume and cover letter writing interviewing strategies or determining the best media and electronic sources to look for a job the career service office is here to help Off Campus Job Listings Part time and summer job opportunities are listed on the career services job board in Bontrager Center Voluntary Service Opportunities Mennonite Christian and other voluntary service opportunities are listed in a variety of materials available through the career services office Career Development Course SCS 165 This one credit hour directed study experience allows the student to choose from a variety of meaningful activities in order to start or continue their career planning activities Cooperative Education Cooperative Education is a program which integrates academic study with related paid or unpaid professional work experience The Co op Ed program is designed to give a student who has identified a genuine interest in a particular career field some basic on the job training and experience The program is individualized for each student Each student intern earns college credit for completing classroom work assigned by his or her faculty advisor We try to keep things simple for the employer The paperwork is brief the cost is nominal the rewards for both employer
