    Tour the Farm Schedule a Tour Faculty Staff Alphabetically Home columnTextImage goes here make sure levelTwoImage css is attached in header Agribusiness The Agribusiness Sequence is designed to advance students knowledge of the theories of agribusiness management and the science of agricultural production and their application to decisions made by agribusiness managers The academic content of this sequence concentrates on agricultural economics and business management subjects In this sequence students choosing the thesis option or nonthesis option must complete the required degree core courses seven hours consisting of AGR 403 445 and 497 and the following sequence requirements MKT 430 and MQM 421 three hours of business courses selected from MQM 420 FIL 411 440 MKT 431 or ACC 450 and nine hours of advanced agribusiness courses selected from AGR 418 420 422 or 424 Students who completed a limited number of business courses as undergraduates may be required to take some or all of the following foundation courses ACC 401 FIL 404 MQM 402 MQM 406 MKT 403 Foundation courses cannot be presented for use in the Agriculture degree program Curriculum Requirements All students complete a minimum of 37 semester hours Thesis Option A 37 hour program that requires

    Quick Facts Tour the Farm Schedule a Tour Faculty Staff Alphabetically Home columnTextImage goes here make sure levelTwoImage css is attached in header Agricultural Education Leadership The Agricultural Education and Leadership sequence is designed to advance student s skills and knowledge in the field of both formal and informal agricultural education Through a cross disciplinary approach utilizing courses and resources from a variety of departments and programs on campus individuals can tailor a program to provide the skills and knowledge to advance the student in their career Curriculum Requirements All students complete a minimum of 36 semester hours In this sequence students choosing the thesis option or nonthesis option must complete the required degree core courses seven hours consisting of AGR 403 445 and 497 and the following sequence requirements Students who completed a limited number of Agricultural Education or education courses as undergraduates may be required to take undergraduate foundation courses as a prerequisite Foundation courses cannot be presented for use in the Agricultural Education and Leadership degree program Thesis Option Option I is a 36 hour program that requires a thesis Students selecting this option will complete the degree core requirements of seven hours fourteen hours of agriculture electives nine hours from Curriculum and Instruction Technology or other coursework identified by the student s graduate committee as relevant to the area of interest and six hours of Master s Thesis AGR 499 Non thesis Option Option II is a 36 hour program that requires a synthesizing experience consisting of three hours of Independent Study AGR 400 under the direction of a major adviser and with the approval of an advisory committee Students selecting this option will also complete the degree core requirements of seven hours fourteen hours of ag electives nine hours of Curriculum Instruction Technology or other
