    Medicine History Awards Lectureships 2011 2013 Bulletin IUSM fact sheet Executive Leadership Administrative Services Administration for adverse weather Adverse weather and emergency notices are posted by IUPUI For IU School of Medicine students and residents First year and second year medical students should follow instructions posted by IUPUI First year and second year students on a regional campus should follow instructions provided by that campus Third year and fourth year students at all campuses should contact their clerkship diirector to find out where they should report Residents are to follow procedures set forth by their program directors For IU School of Medicine employees When the campus remains open during adverse weather employees are expected to use their best judgment if adverse weather creates extreme travel hazards for commuting to and from the workplace They should not endanger themselves nor ignore the statements of local law enforcement officials about traveling during adverse weather Staff should make every effort to notify their supervisor if they cannot get to work and advance notice requirements for use of time off will be waived Closings also will be announced through the media Tune to a local channel IUPUI Campus Status The campus status is normal

    The Indiana University School of Medicine recognizes that there are significant opportunities to improve public health through working relationships between its faculty and commercial enterprises However for both the protection of our faculty members as well as the School itself it is clear that these relationships need to be well defined by our institution providing guidelines and policy for faculty members who collaborate or partner with private industry As a result of a lengthy process with input from multiple groups and individuals it has been concluded that a new policy will be established addressing financial interests between members of the IUSM community and private industry This new Industry Relations Conflict of Interest COI policy focuses on clinical and educational activities and the procurement of goods by IU faculty and staff It is an addition to the conflict of interest policies and guidelines related to research that have been in place for many years Download the IUSM Industry Relations Conflict of Industry policy PDF To help you better understand the scope of the policy we include a page of frequently asked questions FAQs These FAQs will be updated when new questions and solutions arise Download the IUSM Industry Relations Conflict of
