    the outcome My Town is Important Collaborative Internet Project for K 4 students hosted by Marci McGowan Using the format from Margaret Wise Brown s The Important Book participant classes will share a class writing that describes special features of their town National Kick Butts Day Information about this annual stop smoking campaign scheduled for March 31 2004 NASA Quest Project These projects which we call Sharing NASA with our Schools allow students to share in some of the excitement of authentic scientific and engineering pursuits like high altitude astronomy Antarctic biology and robotics National Bird Feeding Society Watch the wild songbirds in your backyard and learn to create birdhouses birdbaths and feeders to enhance their environment The National Math Trail Participate in the National Math Trail by helping your students discover math in the world around them by creating math problems about what they see and what they want to know This K 12 national math project is funded by STAR Schools SERC and Texas Instruments North Pole Solo Follow Wave Vidmar s 2004 solo expedition to the geographic North Pole He began March 5 and will continue for approximately
