    Extension Outreach Support the College Departments Distance Education Contact Us Free Stuff Search The College of Engineering Related College of Engineering Links Achieve Related University Links Faculty and Staff Registration and Records University Newsroom title Drs Jason Haugh left Christine Grant and David Ollis professors in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Drs Jason Haugh left Christine Grant and David Ollis professors in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering have received numerous awards for their work In 2003 all three received prestigious awards from the National Science Foundation Photo Roger Winstead Faculty and Staff Leadership Lisa Marshall nuclear engineering outreach instructor and new student academic adviser in the Department of Nuclear Engineering has received College recognition for her leadership skills on more than one occasion She is an enthusiastic ambassador for her department and College constantly seeking new opportunities to educate others and form new partnerships Photo Jennifer Weston Faculty is the single element that connects students education research and industry And indispensable to them is the support of a knowledgeable and committed staff So NC State Engineering is pleased to have 748 exceptional faculty and staff members within our college 279 of which are tenured and tenure track faculty members The breadth of our faculty s research is extensive ranging from advanced computing to biotechnology semiconductors to ergonomics nanotechnology to energy Their diverse and impressive innovations and accomplishments have earned them much acclaim Ten are members of the National Academy of Engineering and 80 have received Presidential and National Science Foundation NSF recognitions for achievement including 55 NSF Career Awards One has received the prestigious National Medal of Technology for the discovery and development of amorphous magnetic materials Another has received an Emmy for his efforts in advancing television technology Our hard working research administrative and office
