    Financial Aid for matriculated students merit aid and need based aid This aid is from a variety of sources including the federal and state government private sources and Pace University I can be in the form of scholarships fellowships grants and loans Merit Aid To qualify an applicant must be at least at median or above in LSAT and GPA for the admit year Applicant must also have a strong application as reviewed by the scholarship committee If a student is awarded a merit award they will be notified by mail approximately 2 weeks after a student has been admitted Once the reward is received a merit award deposit will be due as well as a signed Attachment A Need Based Aid Your package will be generated by our financial aid department and they have created the Financial Aid 101 page to give you a comprehensive overview of your Financial Aid options and some general tips on how to fill out the various forms and apply for aid If you need to speak to someone on the phone please call 877 672 1830 Housing ON CAMPUS HOUSING Dannat Hall Housing Applications are available for single law students who would like on campus housing in Dannat Hall Each room is about 12x16 feet long furnished with a full size bed large desk and high backed chair two closets bookshelf chest of drawers and a Micro Fridge The building also is equipped with a newly renovated kitchen laundry room state of the art lounge and exercise weight room Space in Dannat Hall is limited so please complete and return the application form and a housing and security deposit of 500 00 Refundable on a declining scale OFF CAMPUS HOUSING Off campus housing must be secured by the student Pace Law School permits local landlords and homeowners to post their rental listings on a designated bulletin board in the Student Lounge Please note Pace Law School or Pace University does not have any affiliation with the landlords or homeowners who post their listings All students should verify that the rental agreement and conditions are fair and appropriate Health Health Insurance Pace requires all students enrolled in the full time program to carry health insurance All students are automatically enrolled in the Pace Student Health Insurance If you have existing insurance you may waive the Pace Student Health Insurance Any questions regarding the Health Insurance Plan can be directed to the Office of Student Services at 914 422 4233 Waiver Pace Student Health Insurance Immunization Form All students who matriculate into a degree program and enroll for 6 or more credits must fill out the Immunization Form to comply with New York State Department of Health immunization requirements Each form must Be clearly legible Indicate vaccines dates names and location of doctors and clinics Be stamped or signed by doctor or clinic FERPA The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act FERPA generally prohibits Pace University from disclosing personally identifiable information from a student s

    day of classes for all first years Orientation for the spring semester is scheduled for January 6 2016 Assignments for your classes will be posted on an electronic classroom created by The West Education Network TWEN Through TWEN you will access course syllabi and assignments and participate in class discussions electronically Most professors post assignments and syllabi before the first day of class and you are expected to be prepared to participate in class discussions on that first day In your Orientation packet you will be receiving a Westlaw number an access for TWEN as well as a quick reference to using TWEN The Bookstore is located on the ground floor of Aloysia Hall they will have most of the required texts before Orientation Their hours vary reach out them before you visit at 914 422 4057 Feel free to call and reserve your textbooks or confirm their schedule before coming to campus Please note that each professor has the prerogative to choose his her own texts All sections of the same course may not be taught by the same professor so students may not need the same texts To discover which texts are appropriate for you you will need
