    Department in the New York office of Wiggin and Dana LLP Ms Palla was previously with the law firm of Kaye Scholer LLP Ms Palla is an experienced litigator representing clients in a variety of litigation matters including intellectual property related antitrust issues bankruptcy and complex business and commercial issues In the intellectual property area Ms Palla s practice encompasses an array of technologies including pharmaceuticals biotechnology and drug delivery systems with a particular focus on Hatch Waxman patent infringement litigations Ms Palla also counsels clients regarding U S patent law by providing them with infringement validity and enforceability opinions and conducting patent due diligence She also has experience in issues related to Asian patent law with a focus on China and India In the complex business and commercial area Ms Palla s practice includes commercial litigation in all phases of federal and state litigation in areas such as securities fraud and contracts and adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court Ms Palla practices before both state and federal courts including appeals to the Federal Circuit and is experienced in alternative dispute resolution such as arbitration and mediation Ms Palla is committed to pro bono legal services In 2008 she was honored

    and regulatory matters in a variety of civil and administrative proceedings John is the Director of the New York City Watershed Program at Riverkeeper where he leads efforts to protect the shared drinking water supply of over 9 million people in New York City and in the lower Hudson Valley He leads the organization s efforts on numerous pressing issues including projects and cases to curb poorly planned growth and development prevent non point source pollution address climate change and minimize environmental impacts to the forests lakes rivers and streams necessary for clean drinking water John is Co Chair of the Committee on Legislation of the Environmental Law Section of the New York State Bar Association where he also serves as a member of the Executive Committee Prior to working with Riverkeeper he served as the project manager and coordinator for the Task Force on Water Resources Management for Rockland County As the Coordinator he worked with business government and community groups to develop water conservation initiatives for a long term sustainable water supply John served as Regional Attorney and a member of the Executive Staff of the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Lower Hudson Valley and Catskill

    Neglect cases when there is a pending delinquency case involving the same youth He has served the New York State Family Court in many high level positions over the past 24 years Prior to his appointment to the Family Court Bench in 2012 Judge Passidomo served as the Chief Clerk of the New York City Family Court Chief Magistrate of the New York State Family Court and as Vice Dean of the New York State Judicial Institute As the Chief Magistrate Judge Passidomo was in charge of New York State s 120 Support Magistrates and 50 Court Attorney Referees who together preside over more than 300 000 case filings each year In 2006 Judge Passidomo was appointed as the Vice Dean of the New York State Judicial Institute The Judicial Institute is charged with training New York s 1 200 State Judges 2 000 court attorneys as well as the 2 000 town and village judges He served as both the Chief Magistrate and as Vice Dean from 2006 to 2009 As Chief Clerk together with Administrative Judge Edwina Richardson Mendelson they developed a plan for the future of the New York City Family Court which focuses on the experience

    plants Much of that litigation focused on emergency preparedness and Judge Ridgway became one of the nation s leading experts on the subject Judge Ridgway has been an Adjunct Professor of Law on the international law faculties of Cornell Law School and American University s Washington College of Law in Washington D C In addition she frequently serves as a consultant lecturer for international rule of law development and judicial capacity building programs sponsored by U S government agencies international organizations such as the U N and a range of NGOs and travels the world working with judges and other public officials lawyers and the business community to promote a legal environment to attract international trade and foreign direct investment Judge Ridgway is a member of the American Law Institute and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation ABF a member of both the Board of Directors of the American Judicature Society and the ABF Fellows Research Advisory Committee a member of the American Bar Association ABA Standing Committee on Federal Judicial Improvements and Co Chair of the American Bar Association ABA Section of Litigation s Task Force on Implicit Bias a member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Bar Building Corporation and a member of the New York City Bar s Council on International Affairs as well as the National Association of Women Judges A past Chair 2009 2010 of the ABA Judicial Division s National Conference of Federal Trial Judges NCFTJ the national association that represents the interests of all federal trial judges Judge Ridgway has served for more than a decade on the National Council of the Federal Bar Association and is a former member of both the Board of Governors of the D C Bar and the ABA Commission on Women in the Profession
