    Before becoming Associate Dean Walker was a partner in the White Plains firm of Cuddy Feder LLP representing developers buyers sellers lenders borrowers and landlords in commercial real estate transactions involving shopping centers office buildings apartment buildings and golf courses In addition Walker has extensive experience representing participants in historic preservation controversies He is a former partner of the New York City firm of Kelley Drye Warren LLP He served as a member of the Executive Committee of Kelley Drye Warren and of the Management Committee of Cuddy Feder Professor Walker has been an Adjunct Professor at Pace Law School since 1999 and served as Distinguished Practitioner in Residence in Real Estate Law at Pace Law School from January 1 2005 until November 1 2006 Walker is admitted to practice in the states of New York and California and in the United States District Court for both the southern and eastern districts of New York He is a former member of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers a member of the New York City Bar Association and a member and former Director of the Westchester County Bar Association He served for many years in a variety of volunteer positions with an affiliate and constituents of the American Lung Association including three years as Chair of the Board of Directors of the American Lung Association of New York State subsequently merged into the American Lung Association of the Northeast He is a member and past president of the Rotary Club of White Plains past member of the Board of Directors and vice president of the YMCA of White Plains and past president and member of the board of trustees founders board of the White Plains Performing Arts Center Publications Regulatory Takings Historic Preservation and Property Rights Since Penn Central The
