Applicants may apply via three options Downloading the Application Resident Undergraduate and return to Prescott College Admissions 220 Grove Ave Prescott AZ 86301 or Online with the Apply Online To complete the application process online you will need to submit the application The Admissions staff pulls applications from the web site daily and will immediately follow up with an E mail acknowledging that your application has been received in our office Remember that you will still need to have your transcripts and letters of recommendation sent to the Admissions Office via postal mail Online with The Common Application On Campus Undergraduate One essay a two to four page autobiographical essay reflecting on your past academic experiences and your educational goals One letter of recommendation First time Freshmen must have a letter written by a teacher or counselor transfer students may have a letter from anyone except family or a significant other Official transcripts of all high school and college work Test Scores First time Freshmen must submit SAT or ACT scores In the event you are unable to submit SAT or ACT scores contact the Admissions Office to discuss options school transcripts come from a homeschool clearinghouse guild or association If transcripts are unavailable we encourage you to consider FastTranscripts com offered in concert with the Home School Legal Defense Association HSLDA You may also submit evidence of academic readiness through a portfolio At minimum the portfolio should be 5 to 10 pages and include course titles course descriptions and bibliography Some prior applicants have chosen to also include writing samples photography and CD ROMs of artwork International Students Applications from international students are welcome Students whose native language is not English must exhibit a competency in the English language with a TOEFL Test of English as a Foreign Language score of at least 500 on the paper based 173 on the computer based or 61 on the Internet based test Applications should be submitted early to avoid problems caused by delays in processing Visa documents Transcripts from other countries must be evaluated by an international credential evaluation service They produce an official report which we use for evaluation The student is responsible for all costs associated with this evaluation The transfer to the Resident Undergraduate Bachelor of Arts Program must complete the equivalent of four terms of full time enrollment at Prescott College as a minimum enrollment requirement Transfer students do not need an Associate s degree to apply Students are generally considered to be transfer students if they apply to Prescott College with college credit earned after high school All Undergraduate students must complete a minimum of 120 semester credits before becoming eligible to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree from Prescott College Only courses that are numbered 100 level and above and completed with a C grade or higher will be accepted as transfer credit and this credit must be from a regionally accredited school Transfer students who have successfully completed four terms of college study 90 transferable quarter credits or 60 transferable semester credits are not required to submit high school transcripts All other application
