  • Testimonials — Welcome to Sage College - Online Court Reporting Schools located in Southern California offering courses in Court Reporting and Paralegal.
College Linda Gubba Reiner Director Scholarship Chair San Diego Legal Secretaries Association Van Deusen Reporting has been in business now for two generations So over the years we have had many court reporters working for us It has always been my job to train new reporters and get them ready to work out there in the deposition world We have hired reporters that have attended many schools from different cities over our years in business It was always such a hard job trying to get them ready to get out there and take depositions Years ago I would cringe at just thinking about bringing in a new reporter It always took so long as it just seemed that they just were not prepared enough to really be able to get out and work It seemed like it was a long and hard job to get them ready But since I have had the pleasure of hiring graduates from Sage College I had such a wonderful new experience The Sage graduates were so well prepared I was amazed At first I thought I just got lucky with one of my new reporters from Sage Then after having a few reporters from Sage I was totally thrilled and realized Sage was really doing a great job getting these graduates ready for the deposition world I feel so lucky and I absolutely love my reporters It was such a help to have graduates that were really prepared and ready to go I think I owe much of my success to Tiffany Lewis and the wonderful instructors at Sage College I receive lots of calls from reporters wanting to come and work for us And my first question to them is Where did you go to school All I can say is Please keep up the wonderful job and send me more great reporters Leslie Van Deusen Van Deusen Reporting Thank you Lauren Sharon and all of the great instructors and faculty We as students will owe a huge part of future success to all of you You all have my sincerest appreciation for the many hours that you all put in in helping us reach for the stars Michael McMorran Sage College San Diego Student Deciding to return to school was a difficult decision I knew that being employed full time and living in a rural area enrolling in an online program was my only option After comparing several online schools I decided that Sage College offered the most concise and well rounded program From the nitty gritty details of financial aid to a schedule tailored just for me the staff at Sage College made my enrollment easy Sage College does an outstanding job of bridging the gap in distance learning Even though I am an East Coast student I feel connected to my classes and the staff Although my classmates are sprinkled around the nation Sage College fosters peer relationships and camaraderie My experience has been nothing short of extraordinary Success of an online program not only takes great discipline on the part of the student but it also requires unfailing support from the college Sage College offers that support in numerous ways during weekly chat sessions discussion forums telephone and email you never feel alone or isolated It is said that every end has a beginning I was stuck in a dead end place Sage College is my beginning Let it be yours Carolyn Mulderig It was a combination of all the interview advice Sage instructors provided my interpretation and use of that advice and the programs and classes Sage offered that prepared me for this job opportunity I am truly grateful Gabriela Martin Paralegal student who landed a full time court position while still in school Every quarter I participate in the general student orientation for both day and evening students This year Admissions wanted to try something a little different by stopping in to say a few words to the new students since they probably are the most friendly and familiar faces to them I am grateful and proud to have been present when Tiana walked into the evening CR students orientation to speak to them Evening students are special because most of them have jobs and probably families so by the time they arrive here they have already put in a full day Tiana told them how proud she was of all of them understanding the sacrifice all of them were making to pursue educations and better themselves It was short sweet and very sincere It looked as though people all over the room were trying to hold back their tears I was definitely trying not to cry because seeing her effect on the students was an emotional moment I would also like to add something on a personal note As everyone knows my mom passed away in April and it was a very difficult time for me I truly do not feel there are any words adequate enough to describe what a blessing it is for me to have been surrounded by all of my beautiful co workers here at Sage College Diane B offered to help me pay for my mom s cremation and everyone else here gave me a card filled with money because they figured I might need it I received unending friendship and emotional support kind words and loving emails Such kindness comes from such pure and honest love this truly is a family environment here Julie Sater Student Accounts My name is Aliya Farah I am a student at Sage College San Diego campus I am writing to show my appreciation for the wonderful education I am receiving as well as to say thank you to the staff for their support during a difficult time I am honestly blown away by what a great job they are doing as administrators staff teachers and just as kind and concerned human beings First of all the court reporting profession is an incredible one and
