  • Fallon, Michael J | People | San Jose State University
of education In 1976 I composed a maxim for my classes This is your life this is your world Make it a thing of beauty and a joy forever Open your eyes ears mind and heart Live learn discover love Be happy Times were much simpler then teaching more straight forward and values were important to education So much has changed since then and continues to change rapidly due in large part to technology media globalization heavy workloads and overwhelming options for living life I wouldn t go so far as to state that as my philosophy of teaching today but I do profess to motivate and to challenge each individual student to discover for him herself all that a particular subject and course of study has to offer to develop holistically as a person and to involve one s self in our world however great or small according to one s unique vocation and circumstance and to do so with compassion for the common good of all Education Master of Science Education Univ Of San Francisco 1984 Bachelor of Arts Sociology Univ Of Notre Dame Indiana United States 1973 Licenses and Certificates Teaching Certificate California United States 1974 Links
