    instructions on applying to the program visit the Office of Graduate Admissions Web page or select the application instructions link on the menu bar How many students do you admit annually Each year up to 15 students are admitted into the PsyD program Do I need to take the GRE exam Yes your general GRE score is required for application You do not need to take the psychology specific GRE section Are students admitted on a part time basis No only persons who are willing and able to carry a full schedule of courses nine credit hours or more per semester will be admitted Is this program accredited by APA The curriculum of the PsyD program also has been designed to meet the standards of the Commission on Accreditation of the American Psychological Association However as a newly developed program the PsyD program has not yet been accredited by the American Psychological Association APA The College intends to apply for APA accreditation as soon as it is eligible to submit material What is the process for admissions and admissions decisions Faculty members begin reviewing applications mid December All applications that are received by the Dec 1 deadline are given early consideration Additional applications will be reviewed after the Jan 1 deadline After all applications are reviewed faculty members will select a pool of applicants for on campus interviews Applicants who are not contacted by March 15 to schedule an interview are no longer being considered for admission These interviews are typically conducted in late February or early March Past applicants who have attended an interview day have reported that the experience provided an excellent opportunity to get to know the faculty members and get a feel for the program Notifications of admission and wait list status are made by phone
