    as many payments prior to that date Registration Information Registration for RETURNING campers March 9 Adventure Camps 8 30 a m Adventure Camp 9 a m Walk A Bout Camp 9 30 a m Voyager Camp March 10 Day Camp 8 30 a m Registration for NEW campers March 11 Open registration for all camps 9 a m 2016 Camp Tuition Fees Per Session Day Camp ages 5 12 Session 1 no camp on July 4 360 00 Day Camp ages 5 12 Session 2 4 400 00 Voyager Camp ages 11 13 Session 1 no camp on July 4 455 00 Voyager Camp ages 11 13 Sessions 2 4 500 00 Walk A Bout Camp ages 12 14 Session 1 no camp on July 4 515 00 Walk A Bout Camp ages 12 14 Sessions 2 4 550 00 Adventure Camp ages 14 16 Session 1 no camp on July 4 625 00 Adventure Camp ages 14 16 Sessions 2 4 675 00 Discounts A discount of 20 per camper per multiple sessions is offered for all Camp Massasoit s Camps For example if your child is registered for two sessions the system will automatically take off 20 for three sessions 40 and your price will be reduced by 60 if your child is registered for all four sessions This discount will only be applied if you enroll in multiple sessions at the same time Payment Information All payments will occur online with a minimum of a 50 percent deposit required at the time of registration All outstanding balances are due NO later than June 1 2016 To make a payment for an outstanding balance log in to your child s account and then go to My Account and Pay Balances Further billing and refund information is available in the Camp Massasoit 2016 Information Packet Additional Registration Information Age Requirements In order to be enrolled in any of our camps your child must be that age on the first day of the session you are requesting For example if your child is interested in Voyager but turns 11 on the second day of the session s he is not eligible for that camp If you are requesting day camp for your child they must be at least 5 on the first day of the session you wish s he to be enrolled in There are no exceptions If your child does not meet the age eligibility requirement for the session s he is enrolled in Camp Massasoit reserves the right to withdraw that camper Splitting Sessions No camper is allowed to split sessions If you choose to enroll your child in a session but only send s he to one week of that session that is allowed but it will not be prorated Confirming Enrollment After you register your child you will receive a confirmation email for each session that you enrolled your child in We recommend that you save these emails until your child begins the session s

    Fun Night Day Camp Adventure Camp Walk A Bout Camp Voyager Camp Camp Massasoit Staff Application Camp History Driving Directions to Camp Massasoit East Campus East Campus Staff Facilities Programs Business Information Driving Directions Directions to East Campus Camp Massasoit and the Child Development Center Camp Massasoit Outdoor Pursuits Spring Explorers Family Fun Night The second Thursday night of every session is Family Fun Night Friends and family are invited to join their camper in the experience of a day at Camp Massasoit Program areas will be staffed natural crafts planned and the BBQ will be fired up for hot dogs and hamburgers Don t forget about the talent show featuring counselors and campers an old fashioned bonfire and camp songs It all ends in time to return home for a good night s sleep to finish up one last day after two weeks of camp fun In an effort to provide a quality and relaxing experience for parents on a busy Thursday we offer a BBQ dinner catered by Springfield College dining services enhancing the Family Fun Night experience for our customers Families will need to RSVP by the end of the first week and payments can be made anytime prior to Thursday evening Families are also invited to bring their own dinner from home if they wish During this evening we park at the Child Development Center as well as East Campus and operate shuttles for our guests Please plan to drive to East Campus and our staff will redirect you to the Child Development Center parking lot if necessary Campers may not participate in the evening activities without adult supervision This means we are encouraging and requesting that all campers enjoy the evening s activities as a family For those campers not staying for Family Fun Night

    Driving Directions to Camp Massasoit East Campus East Campus Staff Facilities Programs Business Information Driving Directions Directions to East Campus Camp Massasoit and the Child Development Center Camp Massasoit Outdoor Pursuits Spring Explorers Day Camp During the day campers experience a variety of activities that include participation in the Challenge Course archery swimming Project WILD and boating The Challenge Course Ropes Small teams of campers work together toward a common objective and learn problem solving skills while developing their leadership abilities Individually campers will have the opportunity to challenge themselves and expand their comfort zones through the high ropes course Archery Using traditional recurve bows campers have the ability to develop their archery skills Most campers find archery to be more difficult than expected However after some one on one instruction campers quickly find themselves becoming extremely proficient within a short amount of time Quiet concentration and calculated adjustments are interrupted by the thrill of hearing the arrow slap the target Small Craft Boating The camp has a fleet of canoes and kayaks ready for any adventure that Lake Massasoit may hold All boating staff members have completed industry recognized standard training to ensure camper safety and maximize individual learning Aquatics Swimming A full aquatics program is conducted at the Art Linkletter Natatorium on Springfield College s main campus All water safety instructors are certified and encourage campers to progress in swimmer certification levels A contracted professional driver within a standard bus provides transportation to the pool for day campers Project WILD Project WILD is an interdisciplinary conservation and environmental education program emphasizing wildlife The goal of Project WILD is to assist campers of any age in developing awareness knowledge skills and commitment to result in informed decisions responsible behavior and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment Arts Crafts

    Facilities Programs Business Information Driving Directions Directions to East Campus Camp Massasoit and the Child Development Center Camp Massasoit Outdoor Pursuits Spring Explorers Adventure Camp Ages 14 16 Adventure Camp is designed for campers who are eager for a challenge Campers ages 14 to 16 have the opportunity to help build their adventure With the support of the Camp Massasoit staff each session campers will help choose plan and implement their two weeks of fun The first week of each session will be spent preparing for their trip which takes place Monday through Friday of the second week The second week of Adventure Camp is all off site in campgrounds around the areas where their outdoor adventures will take place Camp Massasoit will provide the technical equipment required for all trips Adventure campers should be in relatively healthy condition and be able to handle the physical rigors inherent in the proposed activities This might include but is not limited to the following carrying a 40 pound backpack for four to six miles per day over uneven ground canoeing up to 15 miles per day and lifting heavy objects Adventure Camp is open to 12 campers per session and follows our day camp schedule during the first week New England Explorer 1 Session 1 June 27 July 8 no camp on July 4 During this session campers will spend the week exploring through adventure activity the diversity of the New England landscape Adventures may include whitewater rafting rock climbing hiking biking and kayaking If this is your camper s first session in Adventure Camp this is a great trip for them If your camper is a returning camper then they are probably still talking about previous expeditions Canoeing Session 2 July 11 July 22 Adventure campers will learn the ins and

    to Springfield College Directions Directory PrideNET East Campus Camp Massasoit Walk A Bout Camp Section Menu Camp Massasoit Camp Massasoit How to Register Camp Forms Camp News Our Role Models A Camp Based Upon Respect Family Fun Night Day Camp Adventure Camp Walk A Bout Camp Voyager Camp Camp Massasoit Staff Application Camp History Driving Directions to Camp Massasoit East Campus East Campus Staff Facilities Programs Business Information Driving Directions Directions to East Campus Camp Massasoit and the Child Development Center Camp Massasoit Outdoor Pursuits Spring Explorers Walk A Bout Camp Ages 12 14 Walk A Bout is designed as a steppingstone for campers who are seeking to further their outdoor skills Walk A Bout is more in depth than our Voyager program but less rigorous and demanding than our Adventure Camp Campers ages 12 to 14 will participate in daily adventures both on and off site to help prepare them for a one night overnight camping trip that takes place during the second week of the session Campers interested in the Walk A Bout Camp must be able to handle the rigors of the preset activities This might include but is not limited to the following carrying a 30 pound backpack crawling through dark narrow spaces and being able to bicycle five or more miles Walk A Bout is open to 12 campers per session and follows our day camp schedule every day with the exception of the overnight Paddling Rafting Session 1 June 27 July 8 no camp on July 4 Throughout this session campers will practice paddling skills to help prepare them for their whitewater rafting trip on the Deerfield River Rock Climbing Session 2 July 11 22 Campers will gain in depth skills and a deeper understanding of rock climbing throughout this session Campers will challenge
