years since our last class reunion Sometimes it seems like only yesterday that we were walking into the Springfield Civic Center in our caps and gowns to receive our diplomas And sometimes it seems like a lifetime which I suppose it has been After all we re in our 50 s you know Our Class Reunion Committee has been hard at work planning another fun filled weekend to celebrate our 35th class reunion I believe the members of our committee represent a good cross section of our class and therefore have shared suggestions and ideas for activities that will hopefully appeal to everyone and give each classmate and their guest an opportunity to participate in at least one if not all of the events As a fellow member of the Class of 1981 there are a few things to remember To save June 9 12 2016 for our 35th Reunion If you cannot make the whole weekend come for part or even stop in for a few minutes Family friendly activities for all To complete the pre response form above and send it to Springfield College in the enclosed return envelope This is not the official registration form Watch for the official registration brochure to be mailed out in April To call the Hampton Inn Suites Springfield Downtown 851 East Columbus Ave Springfield MA 01105 for lodging The Class of 1981 has a special rate 109 in this brand new facility Phone 413 781 2300 you must call with your credit card by May 12 2016 to receive the reduced rate To be at the Reunion Parade on Saturday June 11th Surely you will reconnect with many of our classmates and will be part of the class picture To fit in a campus tour to see the phenomenal campus changes
