    Library MacPhaidin Library Printing in the Library Printing in the Library MacPhaidin Library Building Information Collaborative Spaces Computer Labs in the Library Flynn Discovery Collaboration Space Photocopier in the Library Printing in the Library Library Directory Martin Institute Archives Facility Cushing Martin Archives Facility Center for Teaching Learning Library Irish Government Documents Irish Studies Library The Sem Library Contact Info Connect with the MacPháidín Library Transformation via Discovery Explore Evaluate Engage The library has 5 public printers 3 on the 1st floor Rm 110 1 at the Circulation Desk and 1 in the 3rd floor computer lab Rm 313 All 5 printers have duplex assemblies installed which allow for double sided printing Please use double sided printing when possible to reduce paper consumption Stonehill Students Faculty and Staff From the 1st floor of the library you can print to either printer name ML1stFloor P1 ML1stFloor P2 ML1stFloor P3 or MLCirculationDesk P1 These printers should already be installed when you log into any computer However if not you can add one of these printers Adding a Network Printer on Windows 7 Adding a Network Printer on a Mac When printing to ML1stFloor P1 ML1stFloor P2 or ML1stFloor P3 please follow the instructions posted next to each printer for releasing your job using your Stonehill username and password If ML1stFloor P1 ML1stFloor P2 or ML1stFloor P3 are not working you may select MLCirculationDesk P1 which is located at the Circulation Desk and also has a print release station Come to the desk and we will allow you to release your print job On the 3rd floor of the library there is only one printer named ML313Lab P1 This printer should also already be installed when you log into any of the 313 Lab computers However you can add this printer to your

    is down and furniture has started to arrive The renovation is complete The classroom after Previous Next Building Information Collaborative Spaces Computer Labs in the Library Flynn Discovery Collaboration Space Classroom in Use Guide to Using the Flynn DisCo 2012 2014 Renovation Project Grant Process Design Technology Furniture InfoCafe Photocopier in the Library Printing in the Library Library Directory MacPháidín Library opened in 1998 and the teaching classroom was filled with 25 computers in state of the art cabinets that housed recessed monitors and featured a desk that could retract to reveal the keyboard The room was used for traditional front centered bibliographic instruction and for individual use as a computer lab when library instruction classes were not in session Faculty also used the classroom at times when they needed students to each have access to a computer for a one time class session In 2012 the Faculty Learning Spaces Committee Stacy Grooters Richard Gariepy Sarah Gracombe Mitch Glavin Bob Dugan Heather Perry Norah Esty and Cheryl McGrath began a reading group to discuss developing learning spaces on campus The group travelled to UMass Amherst for a workshop and early on identified the MacPhaidin Library classroom as an excellent candidate for a sandbox renovation Teaching librarians were invited to participate in a focus group for the faculty to learn their needs The final product of the Faculty Learning Space group was a requirements list for the new space from the faculty perspective Once the library classroom was selected the librarians began a process of discussing their own and their students needs in a renovated classroom computer lab study space A group of reference librarians visited Harvard University s Lamont Library B30 a collaborative learning space and the Larsen Room with mediascape modules Library staff also worked with students and faculty
