    Letter Math Camp Calendar Math Camp Syllabus Math Camp Sample Problems Econ 200A Syllabus Graduate Student Placements People All People Faculty Graduate Students Staff Instructors Emeriti On the Job Market Courses Winter 2016 Fall 2015 2015 2016 Tentative Course List Research Affiliated Research Centers Working Papers Subspecialties Within Economics You are here Home Research Info Affiliated Research Centers Research centers affiliated with the UC Davis Department of Economics Collaborative research flourishes within the UC Davis Department of Economics fostered in part by several distinguished research centers based here The All UC Group in Economic History was founded in 1972 to energize faculty and graduate students from all campuses of the University of California It operates under the direction of Professor Greg Clark of the Department of Economics Center for International Data collects and disseminates data on U S and world import and export markets tariffs and other economic data pertinent to international trade The center directed by Economics Professor Robert Feenstra routinely provides opportunities to graduate and undergraduate students to use data for their research Center for Poverty Research is one of only three federally designated centers intended to facilitate non partisan academic research on poverty in the U S disseminate this research and train the next generation of poverty scholars The center established in 2011 through a 4 million grant from the U S Department of Health and Human Services to study the effectiveness of policies intended to reduce poverty offers opportunities for involvement of undergraduate and graduate students It is co directed by Economics faculty members Ann Stevens and Marianne Page The Temporary Migration Cluster leads several UC Davis based research projects analyzing the impact of international migrations on economies and societies Economists sociologists political scientists historians demographers and law scholars work collaboratively in the cluster which was
