    this document FRM0008 when trying to open an Business Object DeskI document This error message occurs when you are opening a document that you do not have security to access This can occur for a couple of reasons You are trying to open a document from an older version of Business Objects that is looking for the old document repository for security information Normally this occurs with original documents from the repository and you can simply import a new version of the document from the current repository see Business Objects DeskI Import a Report from the Repository Web If it is a personalized version of the document that you don t want to lose then click here and attach the document to your help ticket request You have been given a document for a subject area Financial Payroll HR etc that you do not have security to access You can either contact the employee who sent you the document to have them export the report to Excel or PDF for you or you can request additional access with the appropriate approvals Keywords Business Objects BO IRF Financial payroll reporting Error Suggest keywords Doc ID 17017 Owner James I Group University

    line This opens a new and nameless document If you invoke pico by typing pico new file you will create a new document named new file If you d like to edit an existing document simply input pico existing file Working In Pico Pico s interface is pretty simple you enter text by typing you move around using your arrow keys and you enter commands by pressing the control Ctrl key denoted in pico by a and a letter Pico s entire command set is listed at the bottom of the screen so if you don t see it you can t do it To delete something you ve written simply back over it using the backspace Windows and Sun keyboards or delete Mac keyboards key Pico In Two Commands As mentioned above commands are denoted by a and a letter For example to find a string of text in a document you d press the control key and w the commands are not case sensitive to invoke a Where is search enter the text you d like to find and hit enter return on your keyboard You know to do this because in the list of commands at the bottom of the screen the Where is command denoted by a W For simple text editing there are really only two commands you need to know X for exit and O for WriteOut which is just an awkward way of saying Save If you open a document or start editing a new one you can save it by pressing control o for O if you haven t named the document yet you will be asked what to call it if it already has one its current name will be suggested Once you re finished working in pico exit by using

    and solutions Cause 1 You tried to launch BO Desktop Intelligence but it could not access the security file The security lsi file stores information used by Business Objects to manage repository and database connections You must have read and write access to the lsi file because data is written to it every time you log in By default the file is located in Documents and Settings username Application Data Business Objects Business Objects 12 0 lsi Solution Contact your local desktop support to check that the security file bobisprd lsi is present If this file is available in the correct folder then it may be corrupted If the file is deleted Business Objects will recreate it on the next successful login You need to have write access Full Control in the folder properties security tab to the lsi folder or file Cause 2 The server which hosts the repository is down or the network connection is not working Solution Check your email to see if there is a message from the bo users lists uchicago edu email list indicating that IRF Business Objects is unavailable Try connecting to the IRF Business Objects Server If the network is running properly

    to organizational unit or other conditions to get the Restricted Fund award grant contract accounts for a unit that were active during a time period To pull these accounts you only want to pull the records aka rows of SL acct6 or SL acct10 data for the months in a given range You can use the predefined CalYrMo condition for a range of months or create your own see the last line in the picture below For the records in this date range you only want the restricted fund accounts that both started before the end of the date period Award begin date less than or equal to end of date range and that ended after the start of the date period Award End date greater than or equal to the start of the date range An example of the manually create conditions are as follows Note the Award Begin and End date conditions do not have to be shifted to the right or nested in Webi as all the conditions are connected with Ands They are displayed here that way to delineate them together Keywords BO reporting IRF grant contract grants contracts provider query dataprovider restricted funds CalYrMo Suggest
