    minor Is PLAN 246 a requirement for PLAN 247 Currently PLAN 246 is not a requirement for PLAN 247 though students who want to pursue a planning minor are strongly encouraged to take it as a sequence This requirement may change in the future Do 700 level PLAN courses count Certainly Many 700 level plan courses that routinely available with instructor permission are listed here Can courses other than PLAN courses be considered towards a minor Many courses that are offered across the university that deal with issues of space place and society with particular focus on environment community and politics are already cross listed with PLAN Thus as a policy we do not allow other courses be counted towards the minor with the exception of the Study Abroad courses See Q8 Cross listed courses with PLAN are counted towards the minor What section of cross listed courses should I enroll in Students seeking planning minor should enroll in the PLAN section of the course If however you have already registered for a different section e g ENST 330 instead of PLAN 330 please contact the Student Services Manager for making a change What summer school courses count towards planning minor All PLAN summer school courses count towards planning minor However students should be aware that the department offers only limited number of courses through the summer school What is the procedure for counting Study Abroad courses Students wishing to count study abroad courses towards planning minor should request the DUS to preapprove the course at least one month before departing for the program using this online form The department will review the syllabi to determine whether or not those credits apply At most one such course 3 credits can be counted towards the minor Once the student has successfully
