    system There is no need for any prefix numbers however 7 9 1 1 also works Unified Communications provides enhanced location information both to local dispatch and to campus police Q Can I make international calls from my phone A International calling are set up only for those employees that routinely use it for business purposes Contact DoTS if you need that feature and do not have it As with other off campus calls international dialing will need to start with a 7 7 011 Q How many callers can be added to a call using the conference function A 6 callers may be on the call including yourself Q How do I use the address book to look up people s numbers A You can look this up in the directory right on the phone or in our campus on line directory To use the address book in the phone press the button that looks like an open book then press 2 for UW River Falls Directory and enter your search criteria Q Do departments still get charged for long distance or international calls A No The University is managing the per minute usage of phone calls on a campus wide basis International calls are blocked by default so that DoTS can assist you determining the best method of calling Long distance and local calls are included in your annual fees International calls are not included in our package and are determined by the country called Incoming Calls Q How do I forward my calls A You can forward all of your calls to another number another campus phone or your voicemail There are soft key buttons under your phone display and you press Forward all To forward all calls to your voicemail enter 3600 after you press Forward All To stop forwarding calls look for the soft key on the screen and choose Forward Off Q What does Do not disturb do A Pressing the Do not disturb soft key mutes your entire phone It does not send calls straight to your voicemail Decline will do that Instead the person calling will hear the phone ring and then they will have the option to leave a voicemail Q How do I turn the volume up or down on my phone A Look for the button to the right of where your handset sits on the phone You can adjust the call volume while you are in a call When the phone is idle that button also controls ringer volume Q Missed calls to a hunt group of which I m a member are appearing on my line 1 Is that right A Yes all missed calls for your phone will appear Hold and Transfer Q How do I put a call on hold A To put a call on hold press the pause button to the right of your number pad You will see what call is on hold on your display panel Press the blinking light next
