  • NIACC
    to offer a Joint Admission Program Under this agreement students may apply for and be admitted to NIACC with the ability to transfer to Waldorf College seamlessly Benefits of the Joint Admission Program NIACC and Waldorf College will provide academic advising regarding programs and degree requirements Waldorf College will register students on the NIACC campus in late spring of their sophomore year Students will receive a 1 000 scholarship upon their successful transfer to Waldorf College Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society members receive a 2 000 scholarship Waldorf will offer one free course during the sophomore year at NIACC for students in the program While attending NIACC a Waldorf ID card will be provided for participation in Waldorf College activities To participate in the Joint Admissions Program students will be required to Complete the NIACC admissions process Meet NIACC admission requirements Complete the application for the Joint Admission Program Allow the exchange of student academic information between NIACC and Waldorf College Notify Waldorf College by March of their sophomore year if they plan to transfer to Waldorf College or withdraw from the Joint Admission Program Complete the Waldorf College verification form to ensure compliance with admission requirements Transfer to Waldorf

    Forms Orientation Residential Future Students Transfer Students Transfer of Credits Transfer of Credit to Waldorf College Credits from other accredited institutions of higher learning will be evaluated according to the nature and quality of work presented as judged by the Registrar Students who have earned an Associate in Arts degree from an accredited community college will have their degree considered for meeting all core requirements with the exception of Religion 103 and an upper division religion course Up to 16 vocational technical credits will be accepted if a student has completed the Associate in Arts Degree Generally liberal arts courses comparable to Waldorf College courses and successfully completed with grades of C or better will be considered for transfer to be included toward graduation Up to 8 vocational technical credits will be accepted if a student has an AAS degree an AS degree an ASB degree or no degree Students must have at least 32 Waldorf credit hours for an AA and at least 40 Waldorf credit hours for a BA BS degree excluding internships and student teaching Student teaching and at least one internship must be done through Waldorf Grade points earned at other institutions are generally not included

  • Arrival and Move-in Information
    that we may have everything prepared for you If you arrive on a fly in day please report directly to your residence hall to move in The fall check in process will be completed the next day If you must arrive early you may submit an early arrival request to the Office of Student Life Please note that early arrivals are charged 25 day for this convenience If you have been approved for an early arrival and are arriving on a non scheduled arrival day check ins will take place Monday Friday between 9am 4pm only All students that arrive before their scheduled arrival day must be approved and confirmed 48 hours in advance through Student Life They can be reached by email or at 641 585 8160 Students can arrange to be picked up from the following locations Minneapolis Airport Jefferson Bus Lines Mason City Greyhound or Megabus Minneapolis by purchasing a Transportation Pass and completing a Ride Request Form Unfortunately no early arrivals will be allowed to check into the residence halls before August 2 as there will be no hall staffing on campus and deep cleaning of rooms will continue through early August Please make arrangements to arrive on your specified arrival date If you must arrive early to town we recommend the Super 8 641 585 1300 or Knights Inn 641 585 5060 for reasonably priced lodging Housing forms and housing deposit must be complete and paid before students are assigned and can move into housing No temporary housing will be available Move In and Check In Day All new and returning students will complete a check in process when they arrive to campus in the fall Check in will take place and begin in Salveson Lobby Please see schedule at the top of this page
