  • Student Senate
    executive officers who are elected by the students senators represent our diverse student population The purpose of the Student Senate include providing the means for effective student participation in community governance and policy development campus improvements developing and interpreting student opinion on issues of interest to students providing effective student participation in planning and administering student affairs promoting the welfare of the student body and acting in advisory capacities to the college administration campus programming committees and other instruments of college governance The Student Senate meets once a week on Wednesday night throughout the semester at 8 p m in the Breen Classroom except during college breaks and conducts two budget funding meetings each semester for recognized student organizations to request funding The Senate along with Student Life host two President Roundtables per semester This event is an opportunity for representatives from each student organization to gather and discuss upcoming campus events announcements and dialog about leadership topics Senate also hosts Pizza with the Prez an opportunity for students to meet with the president of the college have pizza ask questions and hear about the state of the college In April Senate and Student Life collaborate to sponsor the SEAL
