  • Welcome to 2016! | The Warrior
you made a promise to yourself to make education a priority in your life While resolutions like deciding to eat more fiber or watch less TV are worthy nothing can have a more positive impact on your future your career and your family than the resolution to make education a priority in your life I commend each and every one of you for the progress you have made toward your educational goals and I challenge you to make even greater progress in 2016 Maybe that means improving your GPA by 3 or taking six more credits this year than last year or completing your degree plan in 2016 or beginning a graduate program Whatever your educational goal is write it down and put it by your computer so you are reminded of it every day And remember the faculty and staff at Waldorf College is here to help you every step of the way Don t hesitate to reach out to them Here are some other tips for staying committed to and successful in your 2016 resolutions Keep your resolutions simple realistic and attainable Surround yourself with people who support your goal and will help you when you might be slipping Don t give up Slip ups and mistakes may occur but don t make that the excuse to give up on your goals completely Be accountable for your actions Others can advise and support you but you are the only one responsible for achieving your goal Believe in yourself and push through to your goal Remember to reward yourself for your successes often We are proud of all that you have achieved in 2015 and looking forward to an even better 2016 Sincerely Bob Alsop Author Claire Stewart Share This Post On Google Facebook Twitter Submit a Comment Cancel
