    Musical Performances Exhibits Theater Athletics Activities for Kids Perry Mastodon Artist Series The Artist Series at Wheaton College serves the campus family and surrounding communities by presenting some of the world s most gifted artists for the purpose of exploring enjoying and celebrating God s creative gifts After fifty nine years of bringing great performers primarily classical to the western suburbs the Artist Series has enjoyed performances from guests such as Grammy award winning soprano Sylvia McNair Kathleen Battle Yo Yo Ma James Galway Seija Ozawa Marvin Hamlisch the Russian National Ballet and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra The Artist Series is accessible to the public and is continually providing the best in performances for affordable prices For more information on performances and tickets please visit the Artist Series Website Faculty Performances Wheaton s Conservatory faculty is known for teaching and performing in regional national and international arenas Each year Wheaton offers multiple faculty performances for the enjoyment of the students and the public For more information on Faculty performances please visit the Events Calendar Conservatory Ensembles The Conservatory of Music has eight ensembles that vary in musical style From the historic Men s Glee Club to the Symphony Orchestra and Jazz Ensemble the conservatory ensembles perform a variety of repertoire at musical performances throughout the academic year For more information on ensembles performances please visit the Events Calendar Opera Music Theater Each January the Conservatory of Music hosts an Opera directed by Sarah Holman and performed by students participating in the Opera Music Theater academic course which strives to prepare students for further pre professional study in opera and music theater Previous performances have included Gilbert and Sullivan s Patience or Bunthorne s Bride and Engelbert Humperdinck s Hansel Gretel Please visit the Conservatory of Music for information on Opera

    for Kids Perry Mastodon Adams Hall Wheaton offers a wide range of exhibits showcasing student and faculty art work as well as exhibits from visiting artist and professors These exhibits are held in the Hansen Galleries and the Student Gallery in Adams Hall Student exhibits are open to the public during the annual juried art exhibits and senior showcases each spring Information on student and faculty exhibits can be found at the Art Department The Billy Graham Center Museum The Billy Graham Center Museum is a part of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College which exists to stimulate global evangelism worldwide The museum houses exhibits featuring the history or evangelism in America and collections from the Billy Graham Center Archives as well as exhibits from visiting artist whose work exemplifies the mission of the museum The Marion E Wade Center The Marion E Wade Center hosts exhibits focused on the memorabilia and archives related to the seven Wade Center authors Owen Barfield G K Chesterton C S Lewis George MacDonald Dorothy L Sayers J R R Tolkien and Charles Williams Wheaton College Archives and Special Collections Wheaton College Archives Special Collections is located on the third floor of the Billy Graham Center and its purpose is to keep records of the history of Wheaton College and its predecessor the Illinois Institute as well as to support the curriculum by collecting rare and unique materials that document significant individuals or movements in the Christian faith Each year the Archives Special Collections host two exhibits one per semester exploring a particular aspect of Wheaton s history or its special collections Wheaton College Archives and Special Collections For information on all upcoming exhibits please visit the Events Calendar Share This Page Feedback Media Center Giving to Wheaton Back to Top About Wheaton
